Went to this location to cash a check and Miss Taylor decided that although I’ve cashed multiple checks through them from the same account she needed to do a second authentication without cause. After suspecting some discrimination and asking if protocol was the same for all locations and receiving confirmation as well as confirmation on if there’s a limit on cashing checks for non account holders she couldn’t tell me why I was picked to have my ID scanned which she first denied. After speaking to someone above her who also couldn’t tell me what the issue was I’ve come to the conclusion that this location has a racist employed.

As a Bank of America customer I can say that this branch is one of the best since it has bilingual staff, in addition the service is excellent, I had the opportunity to be assisted by Kristina Akmulina and the experience was the best, since she resolved the questions I had, in addition to providing solutions to the needs I had at that moment.

I had a nice experience at this B of A. I was able to open a new account and make a deposit into an existing account. The staff were friendly and helpful and interested in assisting me to reach my financial goals. The space itself is clean too which is nice.

This branch (Company) is in my opinion, slow as I don't know what. As soon as I get the time I am transferring my money elsewhere! It seems to me every time I come in here, no matter what time of day or the day it takes them "all day" to do the smallest transaction. I have other things to take care of and my time is not best spent standing in line at this NW location.Soon, I will be away from their slow motion.

Pretty much worse banking experience/customer service experience I have had ever. Went in to cash a $22k check issued by bank of America, and they had several excuses as to why they couldn't cash it. First they didn't have enough $. Then they did, but it has to be special ordered. Then it was over the limit for cashing without a hold. The manager was extremely rude, saying over and over I could just take it to my bank. Extremely condescending. I wanted to cash it there for a reason, so I could use the cash to make a vehicle purchase that I missed out on because of her. I understand if it's just something the bank couldn't handle, but being so short, rude, and unhelpful is why I bank elsewhere.

Bank "workers" walk around at all times yet 1 person in the window filling 1/3 of the windows. Said they couldn't give me the correct change I wanted for the check I was cashing because they were running low on bills, as if that's my problem after banking here since 2016. Edit : with that being said, josh is fantastic and super friendly every time I'm there.

The worst. 10 people "working" and only one teller who can actually process transactions. People go to the bank for financial services, not to have leisurely conversation. Get rid of the greeters (or whatever you want to call them) - big hair and/or a goofy three piece suit doesn't make your business function any more efficiently. It's a bank, not a restaurant.

Waiting in a line of 18 people on a Sat at this BOF A location on NW 21st Portland. Obviously they need more help. Bank of America had many years back( when customer service meant more) a policy if you waited more than 5 minutes they would put $5. In your account . Line at 20 now have been waiting15 minutes in line and less than a third of the way too the teller, and spent another 10mins waiting for space in parking lot. So much for service! Hire More People!!!!! Prove to us you really do think our time is important!

Having had to switch to this location because the Lovejoy branch closed, I can say that my experience here has been wonderful. Service is fast, there location is excellent, and the staff are always cheerful... A great combination for a terrific experience.

Super Rude, I also deposited a check last week over $2,300, they placed on hold for a week exactly to this day!! I have bills that are late ect. I also was told it would go into my account the next day to end up calling and hearing there was a 8 day hold!! Then spent 25 minutes waiting to talk to a human to verify the happenings and he politely told me that they usually tell there customers to cash there checks then turn around and deposit the cash so it goes into my account right away! What is the point of having a Bank!??? Ive also been told that I can just do my deposits at the ATM A FEW TIMES! Guess they don't value there job, also closed on numerous times BEFORE 4:30PM!!! About to go to a private Bank.I stepped away a few years ago after maintaining a account I had for 30 years since I was 15, and its just got worse!!!

The very worst service - 1 Star is too much to credit them. I deposited a check from a reputable nationwide car dealership (with zero risk of getting returned as unpaid) very simple to verify with the originating bank, Wells Fargo, which they did not have the courtesy to do. I was told funds would be made available the next day at 9:00 am. But 5 days later, the check still has not cleared. Now the weekend, and I have zero funds. They do not care about their customers. When I finally receive my $6,900, it will be the last day after almost 3 decades of my faithful banking relationship with Bank of America. I never thought this was possible.
