These guys are old school mechanics who know there profession, and are good at what they do!!!! They are fairly priced mechanics, which are hard to come by these days! Did not try to do or say I needed all kinds of extra work or replace things or parts that truly didn't need to be replaced. They may have a waiting list. If you want excellent work, it's worth the wait!! Family owned business, nothing but good things to say about this shop. 5-STARS!

One step beyond Awesome! They were booked 2 months out but allowed me to leave my car and fixed it in 1 day and were very friendly and reasonable I would highly recommend them great business

This repair shop is wonderful. Well worth waiting for an appointment. I was told by a Honda dealership that the cost to repair the problem with my airbag warning light was $3,300.00 and another repair shop said I also needed a new alternator- the good news - Auto Electric Specialties diagnosed the both of the problems - ( it turned out not to be the alternator) and fixed both problems for $300.00 - thank you so much Joann, Bob and Terry - I will recommend you to everyone ?

We were very satisfied with the work and professionalism. Terry gave us information about our car which we took to our mechanic. We did not know he could have done the work until we were ready to leave. But, next time. Very grateful and pleased customers. They truly are the best. We traveled from Gresham.

I have always found them to be the most honest shop in the area. My entire family and I have been using their services for over 30 years. They have never taken advantage and have always been reasonably priced. Once we had an ac problem and I had to take my grandmother to Arizona in the summer. I spoke to 3 shops, and the other 2 told me it would be 700-1500 minimum to fix. AES found it was a blown fuse. $75 was the total cost, I have not trusted any other shop since. I appreciate honesty and integrity, and they certainly fit the bill.

This shop was highly recommended by a young man who truly loves his grandmother. She had taken her car here. I was unable to leave my vehicle for proper diagnosis, but at least I found out why the last shop I took it to was unable to find the problem as another shop had already replaced the sensors that would have given clues.

Ms. Joan, Bob, Terry & Co. will accommodate one's car (albeit taking several weeks to book, they're just understandably super busy) and perform excellent repairs. I wish I had come here first! My 2009 Honda Element had an issue with a ghost charge draining the battery when it was parked. I had Honda run an analysis a few years ago for a fee and it just got worse since then, so I was determined to find a solution. I started back at Honda...Stop 1 - Honda - $185 for an analysis and couldn't find anything. Recommended a new starter, alternator, and battery. I said, "no thanks," but I lost the $185 for nothing. Stop 2 - Uncle Al's in OC. He was really good and honest, but his analysis only went so far. Charged $268 for looking at it and for a new battery. I also recommend him for service overall.Stop 3 - Frustrated after I continually encountered a dead battery, thus rendering the vehicle unreliable, I sucked it up and went back to Honda to get the starter replaced. That was $1023. Huge ouch. Regret.... Stop 4 - Uncle Al had recommended Auto Electric Specialties and I had to wait 6 weeks to get an appointment. But it was totally worth it. The first thing they did was mourn with me that Honda had told me I needed to get a starter, which was totally not accurate and just a way to make a bunch of $$.On the morning of my appointment, they called me around 10 a.m. to say they checked each of the fuses for a draw, followed one to try to test 3 different possible sources tied into that fuse, and had found an aftermarket alarm that was located under the dash that was drawing current when the vehicle was off. I had bought the car 1 year used and I wasn't even aware that the first owner or dealer had added anything to the car. For this discovery, they charged $130, and I have not had a problem since. These guys are such pros and worth the wait. I so highly recommend them!!

This place is a fantastic place to have your automotive electric problems solved. They helped me repair an SRS Airbag light on my 2007 Honda Civic Si. It looked like my clockspring was causing an airbag code/light and they helped diagnose that and install a new clockspring in a very timely manner. The price was very reasonable and the service was extremely friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back to them if I have other troubles with my car.Side note: I will recommend to call ahead since they are busy with lots of work. I had to wait approximately a month for an appointment. Totally worth the wait, and they are amazing.

George is honest & knowledgeable and is fairly priced. His clients have been with him for years. He has moved out of Oregon City out to the happy valley area, to a larger place. We miss him in O.C. but will follow him where ever he goes. Top notch mechanic!
