If you’re sensitive to synthetic fragrances like me, this is the place for you. The space itself is enchanting and when you’re there it feels like stepping into a magical portal!

I came with a group to learn how to make fragrances and Amy made the experience so magical and one we won’t forget! She was so knowledgeable and inspired us to be as creative as possible! Her voice is so soothing and she created such a calm, serene environment for all of us to create a scent that will be engrained in our memory as a blissful fun time!

Visited this lovely shop with a small group for the one hour perfume making class and it was magical! Highly recommend for a group/friend/team bonding event. Intimate, easy to understand, and welcoming environment to be creative. Amy is so knowledgeable and kind.

Amy is a kind and creative soul! My friends and I had a magical time creating our own custom perfumes. The workshop was informative and fun. This is a beautiful shop and I can see myself visiting many more times in the future for their other workshops and to purchase their pretty plants. And more perfumes of course! Artemisia is such a beautiful and well thought out space with amazing (yet affordable) products. I feel my senses awaken when I walk in there.... like I am somehow connected to a bit of divine nature.
I have been back multiple times and have made both terrariums and fragrances (and I've also purchased some of the pre-made scents). The owner, Amy, is so warm and friendly and her directions were very easy to follow. I can't wait to do my next workshop with her!!

Business owner is condescending, and attempts to cloak this rude condescension with calculated expressions and tonality; it gives the uncanny valley effect. The review from the person saying she got bullied by the business owner, and denoting specifically how the owner puts on a facade, makes a lot of sense to me after my experience. Fortunately, this is but one of a number of shops in this particular niche in town, and I’ll happily patronize another instead, as I’d suggest to anyone curious to visit here.

Amy at Artemisia was a wonderful perfume educator and host at our Perfume Making work event! She came to my showroom and taught 15+ designers and reps how to curate wonderful smelling scents. Amy was easy to work with, on time, kind, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her!

If you're even a little bit curious about Artemisia, go explore the sweet space that Amy has curated. It's an absolute dream and Amy is a delightful human with so much knowledge to share.
I created a bespoke perfume and cannot recommend the experience enough. It was a pleasure to work with Amy while learning so much about different scents, their origins and the process of blending a perfume. The process was so creative and engaging, like learning to paint with your imagination while tucked into a woodland faerie's workshop.
As someone who is sensitive to strong/commercial scents I was a bit concerned when I initially spoke with Amy but she was super understanding and I had time to smell a bunch of the samples in the shop before booking my session (no headaches!). I was able to recreate a close approximation to a sentimental perfume that is no longer available as well as a new scent riffing off of that one.
For the time Amy took to collaborate with me and the amount of perfume I took home, the fee was an absolute bargain (especially when you consider the cost of high end commercial perfumes). You're missing out to not take her workshops!

The most amazing fragrance-crafting experience! They walked us through the construction of a scent and gave amazing guidance while allowing us to explore on our own. We were able to learn about natural scents in a magical shop filled with inspiring beauty.

Came here for a terrarium workshop with my work crew. Amy guided us through the terrarium building process with the perfect combo of presence, professionalism, and hospitality. Before we even finished the workshop, the team was talking about coming back for a perfume class next year.

Artemisia is a delight for the senses, whether it's plants, crystals, or perfumes that you are after (or just to visit with Paloma, he resident dove!).I participated in the perfume making workshop with a group of friends and we had such a great time learning about the basic principles of blending.Amy does such a wonderful job of explaining scents and uses fantastic metaphors that really connect you to the poetry of perfume.We each came away with a bottle of our own personal blend and look forward to returning to make more! The idea of blending a perfume based on a concept or for a special occasion is very appealing!Thank you for being such a great host and instructor, Amy!
