Dr. Dykehouse, along with all of the staff that he has working for him, including his wife, Jill, have been absolutely wonderful to us, and our kitties. I started seeing Dr. Dykehouse when my oldest son was 1 year old. My son is now 32! This wonderful Dr. has taken care of all of the cats we have had. We had 5 cats at one time, and they lived to be about 18 years old. Right now, I still have one of these 5 kitties, and he is now almost 24 years old!!!!! He is still happy and healthy, because of Argay Cat Clinic.

They are so helpful and compassionate. They tried their absolute hardest to get me in sooner and even were able to work with me to be put on the cancelation list. Dr. Dykehouse is a wonderful vet also!

The veterinarian and staff have helped me throughout my cats undiagnosed problems. They really took the time to investigate and find out what exactly was wrong with her. I now no longer regularly take her in and she's a fantastic and healthy girl because of this amazing place.

Excellent care and they even saw my cat last minute when she broke her hip, working with a specialist out of Seattle to get the right diagnosis. I brought my cat in when she was 8 weeks old and we went here for a year before switching vets to the Sellwood Cat Clinic in SE.Three stars because they cancelled her spay appointment at the very last moment due to the vet deciding not to do surgeries anymore, which meant that her spay was delayed 2-3 months (no other places offered any appointments, so I had to drive four hours to Tacoma and stay in a hotel to get it done) AND she went into heat before getting spayed, which I've read is dangerous for female cats and can trigger health concerns later on.If you need a great vet who is willing to take the time to explain in person what's going on with your pet (the staff seem to genuinely care about your animal!) and don't ever plan on getting any surgeries done, and can deal with last minute cancellations, this is a good and affordable place to go. If those are deal breakers for you, I'd recommend finding a different place.
