We had just come from an hour-and-a-half trip, and due to traffic, we arrived 10 minutes late, only to not be attended to—even though every time we’ve been there, we’ve had to wait 10-15 minutes ourselves. It’s also incredibly difficult to reach them by phone because they almost never pick up. Honestly, it was really disappointing. Professionally, they are excellent, but their personal treatment is zero. Right now, they may not care about losing clients because they have plenty, but hard times come to everyone, and people will remember the poor personal treatment they received

Comprehensive, kind, my nervous dog was very much put at ease by the vet.

The team at Animal Derm are super helpful and always good with my dog. He's a wiggly one and sometimes makes it a challenge to look in his ears. But between the nursing staff and Dr Schuldenfrei it always happens.

Everyone has been very nice and patient as we navigate through our dog’s illness. Dr. Schuldenfrei is amazing and takes the time to answer our many questions and does follow up emails so we are sure we don’t miss anything!

We love Dr. MaryKate Tully, thank you for giving my dog's quality of life back for his senior years! The staff helping Dr. Tully are always so sweet and the front desk is always so accommodating for my dog who is a terrible greeter on leash with other dogs. Animals with allergies are expensive! I can see the frustration in lower reviews, but if you are frustrated, please look into AKC pet insurance which covers animals with PRE-EXISTING conditions (like allergies) after one year. It saved my dog's life and offered us a way to get my dog the care he deserved without spending our savings away. I feel truly blessed to have Dr. Tully's amazing advice, compassion, and smartness on our side. I spent thousands at our local vet before coming here and I can't say how I wish I had come earlier and saved myself so much time and money. He has been on a regimen of expensive meds and special food for a year until we could do allergy testing (covered by AKC insurance after one year). The meds are cheaper with a pharmacy next to our house (Safeway), which the front office staff is kind enough to call over for us. We went ahead with testing and immunotherapy, and WOW. It was a game-changer. Suddenly my dog has whites in his eyes and can give me side eye?! I didn't realize for the first six years of his life that his eyes were red and hard to move because of his allergies and not because of his breed. He has fur growing back on his stomach/body and I am able to avoid yearly double ear infections that used to come on instantly from environmental allergies. He smells so much better, and doesn't have red spots everywhere. His nails don't shatter and split causing emergency visits anymore. He will always be on special food and possibly meds, but immunotherapy helped get him back to being a goofy dog again.

I really enjoyed the experience and the doctor was very helpful. Sounds like we have a long road to discover Otto's allergies so I'm glad to have a knowledgeable team behind us

While we do feel Dr Schuldenfrei cares for the animals the office is setup to extort from customers. Caring for our beloved furry children is more than churn and burn on doctor visits and what Animal Dermatology is forgetting is the patient experience. Front staff lacks adequate training or possibly they are trained to extract the highest dollar amount possible. Our primary vet is complete polar opposite as Brooklyn Yard truly cares for our pet and his family’s best interest. A simple injection was 3x the cost here. ADC takes zero accountability and gave us a whopping $30 refund to make up for the misunderstanding of overcharging us and having our puppy go through an unnecessary visit and procedure when we had the same exact procedure done 11 days prior and we are scheduled again in two weeks. Would NOT recommend this place ever again. Incredibly disappointed in the lack of accountability and absence of quality compassionate care. This location clearly cares more about how to extort max profits and line their pocketbooks. When people take their dogs to the dermatologist they are already distressed and likely financially pouring out to give their pets the best care. My husband called to schedule a simple cytopoint injection which at Brooklyn Yard runs around $230. Here the front desk scheduled a full doctor visit, exam and labs costing well over $600. Great job to this place for losing site of how to truly run a caring practice.

Dr Ashley is the best dermatologist one could ask for! She is knowledgeable, kind, communicates well and is pragmatic in her treatment options. We recommend her without hesitation. She has successfully helped us with our Irish setter for 5 years.

Caring staff and everyone took time to thoroughly explain what might be happening with Daisy. Given her complicated medical history, I really appreciated the attention they gave us.

I feel that the visit with the doctor was very thorough, with a thorough examination of my dog's condition, great explanations of all options and related costs, and all my questions answered patiently in terms I could understand. I have seen improvement since starting the initial treatment recommendations just a week ago and I'm sure I will be able to ask any other questions I have at the next follow up in order to decide further treatment.

The staff at Animal Dermatology are a very caring group, and will do what it takes to care for your four legged loved one. Couldn’t ask for a better Clinic to help keep your dog or cat as healthy as possible.
