Advantis...1) Will report you to a credit bureau if you're 30 days late on a payment2) Will charge late fees3) Does not care if you pay off a car through themThere's no "Advantis-age" to being a customer with these guys.You need to read the 1-star reviews from those that have been long-time members or have had loans / lines of credit. The good ratings are typically interactions, so just ignore those.I've paid off a car with them - paid off multiple vehicles in my life - and my credit score continues to climb, yet my interest rate with them is now over 22%. I had 1 late payment and they reported me to a credit bureau. You want that on your credit report?I'm sure with regards to the interest, they'll say that's not on them, but they're higher than all my credit cards with other banks. And they won't help you if you ask. You would think a Platinum credit card with a credit union would be pretty cool, but it's really not. What they want is for you to spend a lot, then miss a payment, lose your job, or otherwise give them a reason. It seems one late payment makes me a bad customer.Fact is, I haven't had any other late payments with anyone and I've never been reported to a credit bureau by anyone else. I'm a great customer, but apparently not in the eyes of Advantis.So if you value your credit, go elsewhere.They will kick you while you're down.Seriously, don't buy into their promises and lies. They just want to bait and hook you.

Recently took out a HELOC with Advantis and process was very smooth and straight forward. Worked with Lacey S. (Oregon City) and she couldn't have been better. Very quick with responses and processing and always helpful. Monique V. was great in getting the process started as well. I've had nothing but good experiences with Advantis and have been working with them for years. Greatly appreciate their services.

After being treated rudely and like I did something wrong , found out I was denied bank account, not because of any negative marks on my check system which I don't have , but denied because of too many inquiries, like my fault I was trying to see how to buy a home and I had People pull my credit, which is a good rating and no negative marks there either..Totally would not recommend this bank /credit union at all

I'm a customer over ten years, since the 2008 financial crisis when the larger national banks were looking shaky. Its nice to know I'm supporting our local economy by banking here, and keeping our resources in the community. I have used many services, including home loan, car loan, and banking accounts and am happy with each. They even awarded my wife a $500 scholarship, and they also help local groups with an annual Grow grant program. My only 'complaint' is the distance to get to a local branch from home, but using the phone app and online portal means I only really need to physically visit a branch once a year. When I do visit the branch, Greg is my go-to teller and I enjoy his great customer service. Thanks Greg!

Have always loved the staff at this location, great vibes and makes me feel a certain pride in banking here (which I don’t come close to feeling when banking elsewhere). Set up a new CD today with Karice and she was a total delight, always a pleasure to get to interact with Greg as well, and I probably have a crush on the other teller too but don’t know her name so at least I’m keeping it professional. Thanks for keeping it real & low key, Advantis!

when advantis started moving to remote teller i know it was going down hill, when they closed the downtown branch i stopped bank there, now the lloyd branch is closing and my partner will be closing both her account and business account

As a new member, I am very satisfied with my decision to join Advantis Credit Union.From reading reviews to inquiring about services (on their phone line) Monica & Molly were very helpful. Then, at the Downtown Branch Monifa L. (Relationship Manager) and Sr. Teller Gregg were wonderful assisting me through all my questions & concerns. Everyone I met was courteous & it was a very welcoming atmosphere, even the other clientele were friendly & upbeat. I'm looking forward to banking with Advantis.

I just had the most amazing phone experience of my life, and that's saying a lot since I absolutely loathe speaking on it. I needed some extra help financially, and was in need of a new loan. I had the pleasure of speaking with Gary Shimafukuro, who proved to be quite knowledge and insightful. He was able to navigate my request with ease, and even suggest a few other things to make my life a little easier. If the world had just a few more folks like Gary, I think we'd be in better shape. I am so glad to see that this Advantis location still exists close to my work. I used up my break time to pass by to take care of an order and because of its existence I don't have to worry about driving and catching a different location before closing time. Best Credit Union and I have no regrets being a member. They truly care and take care of your needs.
