I purchased a used vehicle from Ernie at Acura of Portland. It was a great experience, as Ernie was knowledgeable, respectful and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to return to Acura of Portland.

I have bought several new cars from Dick Hannah over the years, but always in Vancouver, Wa. I Just bought my first "Certified Preowned" car from Dick Hannah Acura of PORTLAND OREGON, on STARK. Acura RDX $39,999.00 Certified Preowned does not mean a darn thing ! There was nothing certified about our car, at all! We did not even make it home, before the problems started! The headliner fell on us when we went to open the sunroof. Two tires were new, two were old. The exhaust tips were rusted out. (Our salesman bought us new ones out of his own pocket). The rear door was not installed right, so there is a gap when the door is shut. A piece of plastic, next to center mirror fell on my wife, (and it continues to fall out still). No windshield fluid. A/C does not work as our TSX, or the TLX does. My wife found out, the hard way, that the seatbelt was greasy, now she will only drive it with a towel over her cloths. Let me remind you, $39,999.00! AND NOW THE FUN STARTS!!! Got there 15 minutes early for my 9:15 am appointment with CHAD, and they took me right in. Got all the paperwork done, and CHAD tells me my loaner car is the silver one, out in the parking lot. THE LOANER CAR WAS DIRTY, NASTY. I walked back and informed CHAD that the car was filthy, and I was not going to drive it, until it was washed. He grabbed the keys from me, and said it would be washed. (he was not happy). I got there at 9:00 . When the car was not washed by 10:30, I was pissed, and I told CHAD so. (IT'S 'S A DRIVE-THRU CAR WASH FOR CRYINNG OUT LOUD!!!). (Let's just say our conversation was very heated, and CHAD likes me....about as much as I like him!). It should not have taken as long as it did, and I told CHAD that! I should of just washed the loaner car myself!! We don't have things to do? Our time is not as valuable as there's? Who the heck wants to drive a dirty, nasty car?? I sure hope they do a better job fixing MY car, then the job they do maintaining their loaner cars!! It's was just pathetic! Conclusion: When I get my "certified used" car back from Dick hannah Acura of PORTLAND OREGON, on STARK STREET, I am going to drive it right over to Ron Tonkin, (where I bought my first three NEW Acura's), and I am going to trade it, for a BRAND NEW ONE!!! I do not care how big of a lose I take on that car, but know this for sure: I WILL NEVER, I MEAN NEVER, DO BUSINESS WITH DICK HANNAH ACURA ON STARK ST. of PORTLAND ! N E V E R-AGAIN!! (The ONLY think I have to say nice about this place, is our salesman, and the accountant, were extremely nice to us). I hope this review helps save anyone, their time, their hard earned money, and the hassle of dealing with what my wife, and I, have been through, so far, with this "certified preowned" RDX from DICK HANNAH on STARK ST., PORTLAND, OREGON. My wife and I are both retired Senior Citizens. Dick hannah Acura...ON STARK, is a prime example, of why people HATE Doing Business with Car Dealerships!! I am going to inform as many people I know, of our experience with Dick Hannah Acura of PORTLAND, ON STARK!.....AND CHAD!! I'm putting a sign on the back of my car that says, "YOU DESERVE BETTER THAN DICK hannah acura on STARK ! " P.S. Standby for the rest of the story, when I go to pick it up! UPDATE: dick hannah just told us that they do not have the parts to fix our car, and that it will be at least a WEEK before they even GET any parts, AND...they refused to replace the greasy seat belt, saying it will cost me $580.00 to replace it!! They did not call, or email ME, (the one that brought the car in), they......E-MAILED MY WIFE ! (Ahhhh yeah, my thoughts, exactly!!)

Do not get your car service here, they will up charge you 1000% for the simplest maintenance, came in to fix a oil leak, quoted me 1k+....part to fix are only $50 maxs, called and went to a Autoshop two block away and they did the same work for under $100...they will scam you and they scam me, told them what was wrong with it and what needed to be fix and still charge me $190 for the inspection that said everything I told them, tell you thing need to be replace when they don't need too. Said my battery was bad when I replaced it less than a year ago smh, it obvious why they have to up-charge so much it because they don't get any business. Do not do business with them, let them run themself into the ground.

This is my go-to for all maintenance on my cars. The staff is so friendly and will get you in and out in a timely manner. I can't say enough good things about this dealership. Their hours are really convenient for me and you can find them easily with easy entrance! I will continue to recommend this place.

Highly suggest buying your next car through Dick Hannah Acura and ask for Ernie Coombes. Ernie is an incredibly kind and honest human. He made the car buying process and absolute delight. He really went above and beyond to help us lock down the car we wanted and even delivered it to us while we couldn't leave the house due to Covid. Brad was the sales manager and went the extra mile to get a deal done that worked for our needs. We never imagined getting a dream car but these two were able to make it work. Ari in the financial really made us also feel taken care of without "selling" us on anything. Really can't recommend this dealership more. Who ever thought the car buying process would make you leave feeling like the dealership is looking out for you! Thank you guys so much for everything you did for us to make this all happen.

It's been about a month of owning my new Acura MDX and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience at this point. I am a first time car buyer and had a terrible experience at one of the competing locations. I was matched up with Ernie here who did such a great job explaining everything to me, respecting my choices to additional options, and for making sure I understood everything before I signed. I would highly recommend anyone to work with Ernie, especially any first time car buyers, younger individuals, or people with busy schedules as he made sure to reach out and keep that line of communication! He still answers my questions even after having purchased my car for some time, that's the kind of salesman you want!

My car came back with the interior covered in mold spots. It's difficult when you leave a car to get repaired and it comes back with more problems. Major lack of proactivity. Additionally, not all I requested to get diagnosed happened and then when I followed up on it there was an additional charge, despite my requesting it initially when the car was dropped off. Over all very dissatisfied. Now I know why Herzog-Meier is always busy, it's probably because the provide better service.

James helped me with tire replacement. The quote he provided was excellent. I have checked with other Acura dealerships and tire dealers before calling James.No one else provided a reasonable quote.

My car was broken on the side of the road had to have it it jumped started. After I got the car jumped I was finally able to drive it to Honda who had written documentation to prove my battery tested bad. Acura would not help me at all was very rude in the service department. I tried to make arrangements so I would not be stranded without a car he said sorry that's your own issue to deal with how you would get home. I have a warranty for my battery thru Acura which was diagnosed bad through Honda he said that wasn't good enough that they had to have the car there and test it themselves but I was demanded to get it there before 4:30 and either have it towed so that they had proof that the battery was bad or have it left for them to diagnose it And verify it on there end. The only transportation I have is my Acura RDX they wouldn't give me a loaner. I was in tears at Honda because I can't believe anybody would just do that to you leave you stranded. This the worse customer service ever.

My husband and I recently paid off the vehicles we purchased at this location. Wr contacted them the day after the payoff, 9/11/2021 and requested the remainder of gap insurance be refunded. They sent us a form to fill out , which we did and sent back to them along with the copies of the payoff from the bank for the cars. We have today not receive the gap checks so my husband he called and got a status on them, to which they told him that we needed to send in a form and a paper showing the payoff of the vehicles. He told them that we already did that nearly a month ago and we have still not seen the checks for gap insurance refund. This lot from start to finish along with all other Dick Hannah lots has been a complete and total nightmare. They are very much dragging their feet at giving us the refunds on the gap insurance and I think it is completely inappropriate and unprofessional for nearly a month to have gone by without receiving those refund. Never ever give this place your business!!
