Update** I switched units to the heated building from the regular one which I have been at for the past year. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I've never had any issues whatsoever and the staff has been helpful as always.
I definitely recommend it here!!
Alexis was very helpful and informative, especially since I had a million questions. I definitely recommend it here. They also have great hours, and security definitely pays attention when the access hours are closed. A++

I needed extra storage after moving into a small apartment. I signed up online and was able to get my storage unit the next day. The lady who helped me was very sweet and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you're in need of a storage unit!

I've been renting here for years. Friendly staff. Lots of security cameras and secure entry. Convenient location. Variety of sizes. Online special for 1/2 off first two months.

I rented a u-haul truck for 24 hours. The lady was trying to charge me for an extra day by entering the returning time for additional 1 hour and 1 min. I had to contact U-Haul to show proof of photo that the truck was returned within 24 hours. Dishonest. Truck was filthy inside. Otherwise good location.

I originally rented this unit to store many of my late spouse's personal effects that I didn't know what to do with while I moved around and built a new life. I visited the unit periodically to sort through things and winnow down the collection to the things most sentimentally and biographically important. Over the ten years I had this unit with A-1 Storage, the security was top-notch, the facility was always clean, and the staff were kind and helpful on those rare occasions when I had to ask them anything. A-1 Storage provided me a great service and I'm thankful.

I've been renting a storage unit from A-1 Self Storage for quite a number of years now and have found them to always be very professional and responsive.Today, I had to rent a second unit and Holly, who has only worked there since November, was extremely knowledgable and helpful. The whole process took less than an hour.I'd highly recommend A-1 Self Storage for anyone in the Portland area looking for some storage space.
