On a 90 degree day, it felt quite warm inside. But the space was great

You can’t work out after 10pm change your name or change your hours. What a joke.

The morning employees always set the music way too loud :( It's to the point where I can hear it through my own headphones! Ruins the whole experience. Otherwise a solid gym.

Love the gym but work late hours and would love 24hr Fitness to be 24 hours again.

Being called 24 Hour Fitness and not being open 24 hours a day is crazy.

I go here instead of LA because I like two things 1) equipment layout and 2) there is AC in the Summer. Closing even earlier on Fridays and weekends is crazy though, at least try to compete with LA’s schedule.

I should be able to workout on a Friday night if I want too.. They close during Friday-Sunday at 8pm ridiculous. Will be leaving to Anytime fitness once my membership is up.

They really should implement a no phone policy. There is no reason people should have their phones in the sauna. I shouldn’t be able to hear someone’s music through their headphones, and people most definitely shouldn’t be listening to music/podcasts on speaker in the sauna. The guy to my right had a podcast on speaker from his phone, and the guy to my left had music on speaker. While two other guys had a loud conversation about “running through” women. Finally all those people leave, but in walks a guy with his music so loud, I can clearly hear it through his headphones. Sauna is for relaxation. Leave your phone in a locker.

The staff is friendly, but not overly helpful. I don’t think they ever clean the floors. The same clogs of hair will be in the locker room showers for days. If you forget something, go back the same day or they will through it out. I get a little loopy after workouts and will often get to my car before realizing that I left a full bottle of shampoo in the counter or a set of goggles on a hook, a hat, even Rx eyeglasses Each time I have made it home before remembering, I call, describe the item, and am told to check with the desk staff the next day. Every single time, the item was not at the desk the next day. The staff simply doesn’t care about your stuff. Their idea of cleaning is taking everything off every hook, bench, and counter and simply throwing it away. But they never seem to bother with the hair clogs in all the drains

Nice warehouse atmosphere, great people, but very dirty bathrooms and floors and nasty mildewy shower curtains… blech. A broken machine stays broken for months.

I get it. It's cold out. It might not be safe for employees to show up. However, there's GOT to be a way to let members know it's closed before they walk across town in the same weather. Tried calling and got some automated system.
While I'm complaining, none of you who mention how clean the location is have been to ANY other gym. It's filthy. I've personally seen the same garbage on the floor for 5 days straight. Can't imagine the last time it was vacuumed.
The cardio machines are maintained by someone whose only qualification for "working" is "it moves around". I've personally had to "fix" wobbly bikes by placing folded paper under one foot (the feet don't hand-twist, tried that). Weight machines go unfixed for months at a time.

Always enjoy going to the gym but the parking at this location is tough, you're likely to have to pay to park which at other locations you don't have to - so that's kind of a bummer about working out in dt portland
