Was on the hunt for a specific tent, and found out that these guys are dealers of theirs and only about 45 mins from me. So I reached out, and Michael got back to me quickly with confirmation that they had what I was looking for. Offered to get me in immediately, and got everything mounted and ready to rock in no time flat. The guys were singing songs and cracking jokes while they worked and actually seemed happy to be there. Imagine that!As an added bonus, they also had an ARB wiring harness that can be sourced neither easily or at a sane cost elsewhere. Michael walked into the back and had one in his hand 30 seconds later. To add icing to the cake, he was able to link me up with a fabricator who I am now working with on doing a custom winch solution on my 3/4 ton for. An equally-responsive and cool guy who I didn't have to chase down or get put off for weeks by.The last 4 years have made finding quality customer service and work nearly impossible to find, and the obscene wait times and costs of some of these other fly-by-night operations has only added to the issue. Wanderlust is definitely one of the good ones that still does right by the customer and I would easily recommend 'em!

The crew at this shop treats vehicles like their own. They torque and mark all nuts and bolts they touch and are very meticulous about the finishing touches. If you need a true 4-wheel alignment (Toyota, Jeep, etc.) and have a highly customized suspension setup or bead locks that need tires mounted, they can do it. This is the only shop I will use for my vehicles. They helped me with my long-travel 2007 Lexus GX470. They created custom rear shock hoops, custom hydro bump stop mounts, modified my steel front bumper to flow better with the custom fiberglass fenders, which they also fit and had professionally painted. Not only did they have the fenders painted, but they trailered the entire vehicle to the paint shop to have the clear coat blended. When they put everything back together, they painted all the custom hardware the color I wanted and finished the wheel wells off with a rubberized under coating. Everything was taped off properly, with clean lines and no overspray. It came out fantastic. We also worked with them to build my wife’s Jeep (yes, they work on Jeeps). Michael helped me narrow down the suspension kits based on how we plan to wheel and gave recommendations based on research and experience. Again, this build turned out awesome as well. They installed a long arm kit, high-clearance steering kit, regeared the diffs, trussed the axles, installed and wired up the SDI E-Click shocks, and much more. The Lexus has 37s and the Jeep has 40s. Both track straight down the road and steering is tight, like one finger steering tight. We’ve had a couple of minor issues with the builds, not surprising given how custom they are, but they jump in to resolve the issue regardless of fault. In sum, they are the best off-road shop in Oregon. They do great work, and best of all, they stand behind it. Is there a wait time to get in the shop, maybe, it just depends on what you need and how long your project will take. I have always found them to be extremely accommodating.

Very cool overland/ camping shop. We were in town and they were having a open house rigs and coffee event. Sadly we got there and most everyone was gone beside a few left over. Looked around and ended up getting a 2nd Element fire extinguisher and a valve for my wavian water can. Love OR and the lack of sales tax. Had I known they had black Jerry cans I would have gotten one and held off getting one before trip. Black ones are illegal in CA but not OR. I used to have a black one before they outlawed but it developed a leak and replaced but with a red one.

Took my car in to change brakes out at another place, found out that my struts were all leaking. I had a feeling something was happening, as my turning has been really stiff and everyone's been getting motion sick in my car. Hit 102,000 miles so, the old ones do their job well. This is my first time adding in after market upgrades and I'm pretty excited. I knew I wanted to come to Wanderlust Overland. Both of us were working with an outdoor non profit a few years back and I'd been following them on social media ever since. Communication has been so easy and quick, I told them what I wanted and they gave me multiple options that fit my requests. We're doing a full replacement of my suspension/struts/shocks etc, as well as a lift. We made sure my new springs would be strong enough for the extra weight my car has on it (iKamper etc). I also researched a ton online about having to get new control arms etc to handle the lift, before I could even ask them about it, I saw it in their estimate form online. They know their stuff, specializing in off roading builds. It's nice not having to feel like you're informing the shop of things, as I've had to in the past at other places. We're also upgrading my headlights and fog lights. Call me old but I've never been so excited for an upgrade ha. The back country roads are so dark with faded road lines, all of these new high def led lights over power my stock ones, add in rain and I'm always on edge driving at night. I'm pretty geeked out to get some Morimoto headlights and Baja Designs fog lights. I just dropped the 4 Runner off today, their show room had some additional upgrades I want to do in a few months for water storage on a swing gate. I love how I was treated here, I wasn't talked to any different than they would have with a guy. Everyone was super friendly, informative and you can tell, these guys love what they do. I pick up my car tomorrow, normally it's a same day service but they accommodated a quicker turn around time and took my car in two days early when one of their projects wrapped ahead of time. Again, great customer service. I also really like how they do their estimate invoice, it breaks it all down, clear as day. I'll update tomorrow when I pick her up, we're heading out of town for an off grid camp trip as well so, I'll really be able to test the new set up!

Came to Wanderlust in search of a better shop after the previous shop I took my 4Runner to started to go downhill. After being run around the whole Portland Metro area in search of a new shop, I can confidently say that this is the only place I will take my car from now on. Michael, Kelsey, and Vance have been nothing but great to deal with and all of their technicians are extremely knowledgeable. You guys will definitely be seeing more of the blue 4Runner in the future, and thank you guys for being my "go-to" shop.

Make an appointment 4 weeks out, because they are bust and can't fit in a 25 minute appointment to drive my 4runner and give feed back. Also 25min appointment was $80.

A great overlanding shop with knowledgeable and friendly people. They installed new suspension on my Tacoma and it's been a great upgrade. The team was easy to work with throughout the process. Thanks Michael, Kelsey and the Wanderlust team.

A premier outfitter and upfitter for your vehicle, offroad, and overland needs. Friendly and knowledgeable sales staff, and owners Michael & Kelsey who have a passion for vehicles and the outdoors. I do all my own work on my vehicles, but if I had to pick a shop to do the work for me, it would be Wanderlust, and I live 45 min away without traffic... They always seem to have what I'm looking for or need in stock or can get it before anyone else. Whenever I stop in, they have more great things I didn't know I needed!

Walking into this shop you immediately know they offer a higher caliber of service. I've been to a dozen different shops trying to get the work I need done and this was the first place to make me feel like everything was going to be done right. Not to mention the prices are so good, I kept asking them to add more to the list because I expected to pay so much more than i did, might as well use the money I saved for more accessories.

Great folks who are in it to help their customers enjoy the great outdoors. Tidy shop with overlanding and recovery gear, as well as knowledgeable techs who will get your rig set up right, even if you're on a budget. I bought some used parts from them and had issues - they helped me find the parts I needed at no charge. Grateful to have a place like this nearby!
