Love Safeway didn't have problems with the customer service always was shopping with Safeway company just now saying service sucks today at Safeway tried to spend Uber eats cash not sure if it's Safeway problems or Uber eats problems but Safeway explain much just Safeway worker says they don't deal much with Uber eats ? they don't know how to use the Uber eats app not much help much if they do they do deliver option i came over to Safeway to setup pickup option he was saying it's Uber eats problems not Safeway problems ??? thanks

I trade here all the time because the store tends to have good inventory and helpful staff. Yesterday was an above-and-beyond.
I shopped tired after work with a lengthy list and just wanted to get home. I used the self checkout with a couple items that needed staff support. The young man attending self checkout is always friendly and accommodating and yesterday was no exception. We chatted for a few minutes and I left.
No sooner had I gotten to my car than the fellow appeared at my car side with an item I had accidentally left at the counter. I was grateful...and surprised that anyone had even cared enough to follow through.
It wasn't a big deal but it was in the long run. I am even more of a dedicated shopper at this location and look forward to the opportunity to thank the young man in person.

The checker was very nice and the clerk at the hot food dept. Was funny. I did have a customer help me get a cold drink that I couldn't reach, which was very nice of her. Their cold beverages were not stocked. They did not have a cold mountain dew.

I am so annoyed with the self checkout lanes closed in the morning, when open only 4 open and then 2 lanes open only. The lines are ridiculous and long. I am rethinking coming back. There is so many other stores. I called to leave a complaint and was on hold for 45 minutes. Please open everything back up back to normal. Or everyone should go to other places! Zero parking because everyone is in line. Fix it now!!
And Karla is absolutely the best employee you have!! Give her a raise!! Very helpful and great at her job.
I spoke with Greg about this above. I understand he can't do anything but he can voice his opinion about it as he is manager and can see the complete chaos, long lines. Something needs to be done! Speak Greg, speak!!

My husband and I purchased grapes, watermelon and carrots at two different stores. When we started prepping for a party of 20 people I realized that the produce was below par and not suitable for my guests as all of it was lacking flavor and sweetness.
We stopped prepping and went to our Oregon City Safeway.
Major shout out to the produce staff that were busy with their produce displays.
A wonderful gentleman helped us with getting a great watermelon!
Another wonderful gentleman helped us pick out the tasty rainbow carrots.
We also told by a nice lady, after asking, that we could taste a grape. She happily told us yes.
They were all very helpful and smiling. Made the experience awesome!

I have been shopping here for a decade and over the last 6 months I have picked up well over 15 lbs of bad meat, mostly ground beef. These are packages well before the best by dates, purchased from Safeway and driven the 5 minutes to my house and then immediately frozen or refrigerated. Several nights I have had nothing to make my children for dinner because I have to throw out $10+ of meat when this happens. It's reoccurring and very frustrating. I stopped calling to complain because nothing is ever done to make it right. Total disappointment in this economy, we work too hard to have to throw away meat we pay for!!!

They are so helpful. 1st experience inside of a store for years & I overloaded my walker..even the Starbucks staff helped me to a register.Food is wonderful & choices are amazing. Having just switched store loyalty from a competitor I was expecting difficulty in my rx transfers & requesting my sons rxs to be transferred also. It was so easy & a pleasant experience. I am glad I switched as I actually got the things I wanted in grocery & was delighted to see the shelves fully stocked & tidy. Yay!
