Bank of America will take your money and lie about the reason. Bank of China should be there name. I'm forced to hire an attorney to recover my money. 40k is what they've taken from me!!!

Do not bank here! We just had the most horrible experience with the most obnoxious teller! We sat and waited over 5 minutes in the drive through while they helped 3 other customers! The guy was beyond snarky and rude to my husband. When my husband explained they had helped 3 other people in the lane next to us (and the guy went on to help another person in that line) he full on yelled at my husband saying "NO THERE WASN'T, ONLY 1 CAR HAS GONE THROUGH!!" At that point we were furious because we counted as the cars went through. My husband went in and talked to the manager because of this completely inappropriate and unprofessional teller. The manager just made excuses for him and said they were busy. There was no customers inside!!! That in no way makes it OK to help 3 people next to us and not us. We just had a deposit. That's it. Everytime we go to this bank they are begging us to open more accounts and go on how bad they want our business.. This was the final straw.. We are switching banks.

Was just in Bank of America to make a small cash deposit into my checking account to cover some payments. Only one girl on the front line. So I found it surprising that she decided to take the time to review the customer ahead of me's account info. It sounded like the typical sales job, because I heard him say he didnt need any more cards. Then she asked about residency in the US. He said he had his passport already and all the ID he needs. He was clearly not a minority. This went on for enough time that I almost left. Finally she got to me, and when I walked up to the counter she said she wasn't ready for me in a very snippy voice. I commented back that when there is only one teller, it would be nice to get through the customers in line before reviewing unnecessarily, a customers account info for no good reason. She told me that was none of my business. I remarked, true, but I heard it all. I put my cash down and she said in a very snippy voice, I am not read yet. I picked up my money and as soon I picked it up, she said, again in a snippy voice, okay now. So I flipped my cash back on the counter. Then she said "dont throw things at me." I stated I did not throw anything at you, so I grabbed my money and said.. I am done at this bank...I'll go to Onpoint. She didnt care. BofA in Oregon City is so low on employees that they are borrowing from other branches. Again, a case of Too Big To Care. Any bank orgeron than BofA!!!!

Just checked my bank statement online and discovered Bank Of America had taken out $51.00 for safety deposit box that I had returned the keys to over three months ago. At the time I return the keys I signed the papers. Then got a call saying that they needed me to sign more papers. I was in Canby had to turn around and go back. Did this two days later I'm getting another call stating they needed more paper signed. I did this all on my gas and my time. Then I get an email stating they need more paper signed I ignored it. I guess I shouldn't have because now they're taking out $51 for safety deposit box I don't have. If this is how they run things I would never trust them for a loan. As soon as I am able to I am canceling my account with them. No I'm sorry just come in so you can get it straightened out and get your money back. I guess I have nothing better to do than to straighten out their mess.

Today at 6:01 pm my husband was at their front door. Looking the bank employee in the eye, he locked the door on my husband and refused to help him. The bank closes at six, he missed by one minute. No joke. So that caused a night of unnecessary stress, when they could've let him in. Seriously, one minute.

I didn't want a checking account but my student loan was drawn on the Bank of America, so I had to cash them there. The helpfull ladies at the front desk finally talked me into opening an account. They assured me that they could set it up so that there is no way that I could overdraw my account. I was very leery because of the bad experiences in the past. So I watched my account closely closely and for a year and a half I had no problems. I just happen to have a bad week and money was tight. I had broke my phone and had to get a replacement so I didn't get notification that my account has been overdrawn. I deposited my paycheck on the same day that an overdraft fee was deducted from my account.. Aren't credits supposed to be added before debits? And if the account was brought current then no overdraft fee should be valid When I went in to talked to them about this the lady that originally helped me setup the account was very nice and understood my concern, however the manager, George, wouldn't allow her to do anything to reverse the charge, or make me a happy customer. I was in tears because I had a car full of kids expecting to go somewhere and I now had no money. My account had never been overdrawn before and the pretentious manager George was rude and smug as I sat humbly in tears. I know they can reverse the charges even if it IS your fault. They have done it for other family members of mine at a different branch. Me and my family and everyone I can tell this story to will be closing and moving our accounts to a better bank. All over 35$. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE its sure a good thing you stood your ground, George! I think not!

Came in for a drive-thru deposit. The attendant was friendly and fast. Go in during the early lunch hour, no one in line. There is usually three lanes open, so don't hesitate to cut if you can. There is a drive -thru ATM, but it is in the first lane right by the teller window. Parking lot is hectic because there is a Fred Meyers close by.
