“Went in for the first time a while back ,just wanted to test the waters for the most part gold buyers are there for one thing making money and lots of it at your expense. Then I met the owner tossed out a few test items I knew there value, waited for some lowbal ofer and the I almost fell over ,he offered me what was almost spot for my gold that's unheard-of ,this guy is the best and fairest buyer you are ever going to find out there hands down. I wound up selling almost everything I had been holding on to, he paid me as much as I could have expected by selling it on my own. Thanks for being the stand Fair and honest guy that you are.
That's hard to find. Bryan”

“I had a Pendant with an Heart & Key around my neck for nearly 14yrs. It was a huge part of me and my love story with my now husband. I walked in to Fred Meyers in OC maybe 2wks ago carrying some anger because on April 5th I had slipped my precious Pendant in my back pocket and headed to FM to pick up my chain. It was something that got broke often and it’s the only time in all my photos of the past 14yrs that you don’t see my necklace around my neck.
It was a dear friends wedding that day on the 5th so I ditched my purse and didn’t have my I.D on me. Kay Jewelers refused to relinquish the chain without I.D and in my annoyance I forgot to place my pendant in a safer location. It fell out of my pocket that day. (In my heart I truly hope whoever’s hand it found makes their heart happy and it becomes precious to them).

It was easier to blame Kays then my own forgetfulness and so I walked in to get my chain (worthless without my Pendant I kept thinking). I told my story to Clarisa with a tad bit of an attitude that quickly simmered into just plain sadness when she quickly sympathized and understood how jewelry can become a part of you. That they hold memories and have special meaning.
She touched my heart with her need to help, she gathered old catalogs and poured through them with me, (if the maker number could be found it could at least be remade at a reasonable price) but no catalog was old enough to carry it. She then asked for pictures to be emailed to her so she could pass it on to other stores to look for the number in their catalogs. She even said if it was lost within Fred Meyers boundaries she herself would keep her eyes peeled and would find it.
Thoughts on having it specially made were shared as a last resort but could cost a 1k or more. Finding the original most likely would never happen for me but Clarisa and her coworker were so kind that day it helped my heart lighten as I walked away.

Today I got a call from Clarisa! it had become a group effort. I guess she shared my story with many coworkers and they began a serious hunt to find the maker of this pendant. They were successful! for only $160 they are thrilled to tell me it can be remade. Of course tears slipped down my cheeks as I profusely thanked her. What a wonderful woman to take such a small matter to most and make it a personal mission. We plan on rewarding them for their kindness because truly such a small thing has touched my heart beyond anything I can describe, complete strangers caring will make this Pendant always be carried with this backstory and that helps make it a precious replacement.”
