Rogue Credit Union is not the credit union anyone should be using. I have had this savings account for many years when it was Malheur Federal Credit Union. I received my savings account statement the other day and when I opened my statement it showed an inactivity fee of $5.00 being taken out by them for the last 3 months. I only receive these statements every three months. I never received any prior notification of this fee being implemented or I would have pulled my account or put money on the account to keep it active. I go to the branch in Ontario, Oregon to ask about this fee. The lady was very nice and said she would call someone about the fee. She gets off the phone and tells me that every other fee they can reverse or adjust but no one at Rogue can reverse the inactivity fee. For future reference, to not receive this fee, I would've had to deposit $1 into my account every 2 years. I immediately closed my account and took what money I had left in the account. I will no longer do business with Rogue Credit Union. What was the issue with my savings account holding a balance? It was doing no harm just sitting in my account. That is theft. I will be taking my business elsewhere, to someone that is honest and won't steal my money. Do not use Rogue Credit Union. If I could give a -10, I would.

I went into this branch due to it being a co-op location. I was visiting from out of town and needed to pull money and get the dollar bills changed into coins as the institution only let's you bring in coins. I talked to a teller and she said being I don't bank with them they won't give me coins for my change. REALLY!? So I had to call around and found that EVERYWHERE else I called would do it. Worthless "credit union". Glad my credit union where I'm from doesn't care either if you are a member or not to change dollars for coins. First time EVER I've heard this.

We moved and opened an account here 18 months checking and savings switching from golden one in california over to Rogue in Ontario Oregon. We have had both of our cards comprimised 7 times in those 18 months. It happens between my husband and then I know I will be next. This happened again three weeks ago my husbands card was comprimised and money taken out of our account and then mine again. I went down there to pull all my money out to open a new account at Idaho credit union. Our adult kids moved a yr and a half ago with us and opened there an they have had no issues. When we told the lady at rogue she said fraud is everywhere Which it is BUT not 7 times in less than a Yr and half. and on their website they have a big flashing banner that talks about the fraud. I really think someone has hacked into their system. GO somewhere else anywhere else.

My fiancée has this bank and ever since we put the request to transfer plates from idaho to Oregón back in October It’s been a run around :(, we were told it was going to take 1 month so we went back to the dmv and we were told they had nothing for us to go to our Leinholder and put in the request for urgent since by then we had already purchased our last temporary, today is JANUARY 10th 2023!!!!! Called Salem myself to see if there was an update on the title transfer and to see if we are good to go back to the dmv to get our Oregon plates!!!! They told us that the leinholder hasn’t sent anything over to them. And to get in contact with them again and get a tracking number…. It’s been since October 3 months !!!! Where the hell is our title transfer tried contacting them again today TWICE…. Still no call back at this point I’m disappointed and now I wonder if we will ever get our license plates now… now with the fear of being pulled over and ticketed for expired temporary permit!!! GOOD JOB ROGUE!

I loved this bank when it was Malheur Federal. Since Rogue has come into the picture it has been very hard to get ahold of anyone if you have any banking issues. This is nothing against the employees as they still have many of the same great people, but Rogue Credit union as a whole. It's a little ridiculous when you can get ahold of your credit card company faster than your bank. I have always banked with Malheur Federal, but I will be looking at switching to something more customer oriented unfortunately. After speaking with friends and family who have also been long time members, they are also considering doing the same if they haven't already.

They continually mess up my deposits and put holds on the wrong checking accounts causing me to not have access to my money over the weekend. The online bill pay is not reliable causing me to have late payments. This is all aside from the complete fiasco that was the merger. Before the merger this was a good local bank, but now when I call, I don't get anyone local and nobody wants to take responsibility for the mistakes. I have been with this bank for 30 years but we are now activley looking for a new bank.

I have been lately getting money taken from my card or been charged twice for the same thing and called just to get told they really can’t do nothing about it. I would not recommend anyone to this place

While the takeover was being considered, I was told by an MFCU C-suite staff member that this "takeover" was really just a merger, that the local service wouldn't change and that the level of member service would actually increase. To which I responded, "The member service REALLY improved, once that CU got swallowed up by a huge institution.... Said No One Ever!"And just as I expected, the members are more marginalized than ever and the inflated bureaucracy has ground member service to a halt. Members are now given a global 800 number instead of local numbers to speak with staff whom they know and have rapport. I recently called in and was told that my expected "on hold time" would be greater than 20 minutes.Wow... we MFCU members were sold a package of lies by our board members and executive staff who didn't want to do the hard work of continually cultivating great member service, but instead took the easy way out at the cost of their membership!Howard poured 28 years into MFCU as the CEO, only to have it thrown away by his successors. How sad...

This bank won't give you change unless you're a member.... wouldn't it make sense to give change and talk to the non member about considering opening an account rather then saying, "we don't give change to non members" unprofessional.

If I had known the Rouge take over was going to completely change how this credit union was ran I would have gotten a loan else where. They will not take the auto pay, keep loosing me in the system but they sure want to complain when a payment they agreed to take isn't taken. Can't get anyone on the phone and when they tried to call me back it was on a Saturday at 6 pm. I am looking to refi else where, worse trash bank I've ever dealt with.

Used MFCU for over 30 years. I am open minded to change but too many troubles with Rogue. I feel badly for the front line staff, its not their fault. The bank we went to and businesses I've notified about our changes are hearing the same stories from many other customers apparently.

The number on the new card is like a spam number. Finally got to a person and honestly no use whatsoever.
