Over 2022 and 2023, we stayed at the cabins 11 times. We came back because of the view and the on-site manager Joe (who isn't there any longer). Each time we visited, we noticed one more thing that was going downhill or broken. Our final visit was in May of 2023. The towels continued to get ratty, the front burner on the stove in 18 never worked over two years time, the front window cracked, the mattresses need replaced, etc. Our final straw was upon checking in for that May visit we were informed that the freezer in cabin 18 was no longer working. It had been out for several days with no replacement in sight. We came to go crabbing. The freezer was very much needed. In the evening of the first night, the fridge started smoking and putting a bad smell into the room. We had to unplug it. The next morning, we left even though we were supposed to be there 2 more nights. Joe told us it was replaced a day after we left. It had been out several days before we arrived. It should have been replaced immediately! We were told over and over that the buildings were to be torn down and replaced eventually. That's no excuse to let everything go. We had to fight through our credit card company to get our money back for that final stay. A refund was requested through management but it didn't come through. It should have been refunded immediately! What if we had been asleep when the fridge started smoking? We won't be back. Don't waste your time staying here unless you're willing to accept run down, not working conditions. It's absolutely not worth the price they are asking for a stay!Edit in response to owner:Yes, Joe was still there in May. I didn't say he wasn't. Upon check-in, Joe told us the freezer in cabin 18 wasn't working and hadn't been for 2 days. We should have been told BEFORE we left our house for this stay. We did not report the issue. It was already in existence. It was not replaced until AFTER we left (because it started smoking.) The comment about the cabins appearing outdated at times is ridiculous. Outdated means the coolers 3 are from the 70's. These cabins are sliding down the hill and falling apart. Things are broken and don't work.

Corrected reviewI would like to add when you book communication/text message was great before you arrive you do receive the text for the lock box but After having stayed 2 nights, here is my review. The cabins are run down the property is unkempt I feel they are only using the cabins until they are ripped down to build a new place The office is remote, they mentioned to call them. If you need anything, you have no cell service at the cabins, and you cannot text so you have to look for cell service if you are gonna call them. Also they mentioned some one is their at the office at 10 until 3 no one was. they also mentioned a housekeeper was there or around no one was any where. Here is my final honest recommendation is that you should look elsewhere for a place to stay you can always travel to the ocean. (I have added some other pictures from my stay. Also I wish I would have read a prior reviews about the Accommodations. When I stayed the Cabins the Blue Agate Cafe was closed the two days I was there. Also Roseanna's Cafe was closed it was opened the final day before I left. I would just say plan ahead. For food etc.Food & drinks: When I stayed the Cabins the Blue Agate Cafe was closed the two days I was there. Also Roseanna's Cafe was closed it was opened the final day before I left

We have been coming to these cabins for years! So disappointed in the quality now. When they were bought out a couple years ago, we were wary. But Joe was a FABULOUS host. Not only is he no longer there, but there is no on-site host. There’s nobody to greet you, to answer questions, to help with any potential issues. There is a number to call, but there’s no cell service! The days we were there, the supposed staff that was scheduled from 10:00-3:00 only stayed for an hour or two hours the days we were there. I was highly irritated that one of our credit cards was ran in the morning of our arrival without checking if it was the correct card to use. Also did not receive an email receipt. The cabin was not as clean as usual. The front porch was completely covered in sand, which we swept to one corner. The dumpsters were full and dirty on the outside. I’ve never seen the grounds so neglected ? Although this has been our very favorite place to visit, we’re sad and reluctant to schedule again. BRING BACK JOE!!! He was a huge asset!

Super cute little room, literally steps to the beach, free parking and exceptionally clean! My only complaint is that there is no door to the toilet (save for a shower curtain).Noteworthy details: Exceptionally clean! Bathroom, kitchenette, floors, were spotless.

If spending time by the ocean and visiting the various sites around the Oceanside/Netarts/Tillamook region is your priority, you could do much worse than booking a cabin at Oceanside Ocean Front Cabins. We've stayed here twice and enjoyed both of our visits. The cabins are small, clean, rustic. Bed, bathroom, microwave, small refrigerator. Decent enough wifi. Plenty of parking space. What else do you need? The cabins are reasonably priced and couldn't be closer to the ocean, and the manager, Joe, is kind and helpful and willing to go out of his way to make sure your stay at the cabins goes well. Dogs are welcome. We'll stay here again. Great beach, by the way. One of the nicest on the Oregon Coast.

Our RV broke down as we were coming to Oceanside on our vacation. The hotel manager was so helpful, and kind beyond measure! It just so happened that he had a cancellation and we had a place to stay. We had no cell service so Joe let us use his landline to call for mobile repair. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful place to break down. The room was clean and comfortable with an amazing view and roar of the ocean. We will be back here for sure! Driving our car next time!

Nice little cabins only 50 yards from the beach. Be sure to check out tunnel beach! The cabins are definitely showing there age but that's to be expected. Joe at the office is amazing, definitely will come back.

Hidden Gem! I have lived in Oregon since '75 and had no idea this place existed so I'm super happy it was recommended. Staff is awesome, cabins are spacious and clean, and the beach is right there! This is my new favorite place and I will be returning.
