“I have been using Sherwood Auto Repair for the last 16 years or so. They have worked on numerous vehicles for me and my friends and a few neighbors. I don't know anyone that was not satisfied with their work ...for a number of good reasons. Foremost is their honesty. They do their best to determine what is wrong and tell you what they can do to fix it. They don't "upsell". They don't recommend work, parts, or services to fatten the bill. Which means they are usually less expensive then a dealer. In the most extreme case for me ...dealer said my Toyota pickup needed a new engine for $tousands but Sherwood got me running again for $400 in repairs. That was 14 years ago and the pickup is still running. They are a small "family" type shop but have high-skill, certified, mechanics and trustworthy pricing. For me, they are to auto-repair what Les Schwab is to tires. Friendly, high skill, trustworthy, resonable in price. You can't do better than that.”
“LOVE THIS SHOP!!! I can't say enough good things about this service shop and the family that owns/works it. My sister and I were going to embark on a coast to coast road trip in a 23 year old truck. I knew that the truck had brake issues, which is why we had it towed into Cooke's Brake Service. Pat offered to look the truck over for any other issue that it might have that could cause us trouble on our trip. They worked with our tight time schedule and fix a couple other issues that helped us to have a most enjoyable and trouble free trip. Bill let us know that if we ran into trouble on our way that we could call any of them for advice. What an incredible comfort that was to us. Great shop and amazing people. What more can I say other than the price was more than fair and the work exemplary!”

“I took my GLC300 for Service B to Star Motors, and I'm very happy to have done this. They are very polite and respectful, very helpful and honest and much cheaper than the Mercedes dealership. All necessary services were done. “So, I just wanted to give a shout out to Boyd Motor Werks for outstanding service. After a few years of getting gouged at the BMW dealerships I came across Boyd Motor Werks and never went back.A perfect example of the difference was a couple of years ago when my thermostat failed. Had I gone to a dealership I'm sure they would have convinced me to replace the water pump at the same time which would have costed me hundreds of dollars more. Eric insisted this was not necessary. I knew then and there that this was an honest shop.BMW's are great cars but they need scheduled maintenance if you want them to last. And to be frank, they aren't the cheapest vehicles to maintain. I think you will find you this shop to be highly skilled at what they do and you won't leave feeling you have been violated like I used to feel every time I left a BMW dealership. “I had smashed the side-view mirror on my 2024 Kona. This is a complex component, with camera, blind-spot detection, etc. The dealership quoted me $1300+ to repair it, but the guys at Comfort Auto realized that it wasn't really broken - just smashed in such a way that a few unbroken parts had popped apart. They repaired it by carefully popping it back together, and didn't charge me anything.”

“I just can't say enough good things about Darrell, Trevor and the rest of the team at Precision. I've been taking my 2003 Audi to them for 17 years and we've been taking our Subaru for several more. With a 21 year old car, I'm sure they've had plenty of chances to do work that wasn't really necessary. I have always found them, though, completely honest and straightforward. Work is done as discussed, in a timely manner, and they are more than happy to answer all of my questions. In addition, they're just nice guys! They explain repairs they think are helpful or necessary, and most recently, when I ran into a couple problems simultaneously with both my vehicles, they fit them in and facilitated the easiest of drop-offs and pick-ups. Glen keeps me informed on timing for services, and Jim is an active, insightful manager, focused on making our vehicles run smoothly and efficiently. “Recently a message came up on my display screen that an oil change was required (even though by mileage I should have been good another couple thousand miles). Who knows if the company I went to previously actually used 100% synthetic though. I was recommended to Joe by friends and I always like to support fellow vegans whenever I can, so I scheduled an appt for this morning. Joe was super friendly, knowledgeable and had great communication. He was honest and clear about how everything went with my car and what to do the next time I get a message on my display screen. His prices are reasonable and he is quick too! He does a thorough inspection of the vehicle when he does oil changes and that is great to know when it comes to keeping other functions of the car in good shape. I plan to use Joe/Fairbanks Automotive moving forward for all of my mechanic type needs, and will recommend him/this shop to local friends as well. Also, Awakening Coffee, around the corner, is a super cute spot to do some work/hang out until your car is ready.”
