“My car suddenly lost power and felt like the power steering went out. Looked under the hood and saw my serpentine belts were completely shredded. It was 3pm on a Friday. I did not think I would be able to get in anywhere, and that I was going to leave my car parked over the weekend away from my house.
Not only did they get me in immediately to start the repair, they also identified what the root cause was instantly. I dropped off my car, came back an hour later, and it was ready for me to pick up. The price to fix the root of the problem and replacing the belts was great. It truly was an amazing experience, and I plan on coming back for all my car needs.”

“Update: November 2025! I'm still going to Sherwood Auto Repair and if I can help it I will never take my vehicles anywhere else. Not only are they amazing at communicating on my level, Katie and Alden helped me understand that my partner's car needed a muffler mount replaced and that it made more sense to have it go to a specialty shop because it would be more cost effective! I am so impressed that I will continue to drive from Gresham to make sure that my cars are serviced right. Fours cars over the years and no one but Sherwood Auto Repair will be touching them unless they tell me to go to a specialty shop!
I've been bringing my cars to Sherwood Auto Repair for the last four years. I love their model. The very first day I brought the family mini-van in they asked me what my goals were for my vehicle. We were paying off debt and getting everything in order, and I told Scott, I want to run it until the wheels fall off. They treated that vehicle like it was a priceless sports car. “I was recommended to bring my VW here from the advice of another excellent shop. They always find a way to get me into the schedule. The repairs and maintenance cost amount approval can be done remotely online after they inspect your car which is great . I had an old part replaced and when I brought it back later the same thing had broken but they honored their own part warranty without me knowing there was an issue beforehand so they are clearly honest as well. Highly recommend.”
“Mike Noble is a master Mercedes mechanic who is 100% honest and an absolute joy work with. I cannot say enough good about the experience provided by Mike & Cindy at Noble Motors. I have an older Sprinter that needed driver door adjustment, slider door fix, and a general service. Mike did a terrific job with it while keeping my informed all through the process. He has a very deep knowledge of Mercedes, and is just one of those mechanics who knows 'the right way' to do a given job on a given Mercedes vehicle. A person only gets that by consistently working hard to do a good job today, and get a little better today. Mike is one of those folks, and he's been doing this for decades. “Recently a message came up on my display screen that an oil change was required (even though by mileage I should have been good another couple thousand miles). Who knows if the company I went to previously actually used 100% synthetic though. I was recommended to Joe by friends and I always like to support fellow vegans whenever I can, so I scheduled an appt for this morning. Joe was super friendly, knowledgeable and had great communication. He was honest and clear about how everything went with my car and what to do the next time I get a message on my display screen. His prices are reasonable and he is quick too! He does a thorough inspection of the vehicle when he does oil changes and that is great to know when it comes to keeping other functions of the car in good shape. I plan to use Joe/Fairbanks Automotive moving forward for all of my mechanic type needs, and will recommend him/this shop to local friends as well. Also, Awakening Coffee, around the corner, is a super cute spot to do some work/hang out until your car is ready.”
