Recently a message came up on my display screen that an oil change was required (even though by mileage I should have been good another couple thousand miles). Who knows if the company I went to previously actually used 100% synthetic though. I was recommended to Joe by friends and I always like to support fellow vegans whenever I can, so I scheduled an appt for this morning. Joe was super friendly, knowledgeable and had great communication. He was honest and clear about how everything went with my car and what to do the next time I get a message on my display screen. His prices are reasonable and he is quick too! He does a thorough inspection of the vehicle when he does oil changes and that is great to know when it comes to keeping other functions of the car in good shape. I plan to use Joe/Fairbanks Automotive moving forward for all of my mechanic type needs, and will recommend him/this shop to local friends as well. Also, Awakening Coffee, around the corner, is a super cute spot to do some work/hang out until your car is ready.

Absolutely fantastic - easy and quick to schedule, fair priced and cares about what's best for your vehicle without upselling, kind human who got the job done quick! Ladies if you want a mechanic that's not going to financially take advantage for being a woman, this is your guy! He also took into consideration that I would need hang out around the shop while my car was being worked on - he suggested I come on a day that the coffee shop around the corner was open.

Working with Fairbanks Automotive was such a great and honest experience. Joe communicates clearly, works efficiently, and left me feeling confident in his services and that my vehicle was being well cared for. His paperless system for authorizing repairs was easy to navigate and left me no questions about what work was being done on my vehicle. Will definitely be going back for any future repair needs.

I'm super impressed with Fairbanks Auto. Recently I had a car emergency, and although they were totally booked up, they still made time for me. After the excellent service I made another appointment for a bigger and more expensive issue. I was quoted a much higher price with another mechanic. Fairbanks was able to again get my car in immediately and get it working like new. I highly recommend

Time for an oil change and I thought I was hearing a wheel bearing noise. I was a able to schedule an appointment in a reasonable time frame. Joe provided me with an estimate for the work.Work was completed on time. Joe found the wheel bearings to be OK but he found irregular tire wear and advised to get an alignment. No charge for the diagnosis.Joe is a real straight-shooter and I can recommend Fairbanks Automotive for your auto repair and maintenance needs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Had such a good experience getting a pre purchase inspection done. They are very reasonably priced, timely and the communication and report is top notch.
