“My mom gave her old typewriter to my daughter so we brought it by Type Space for a quick check-up. Not only did Tony clean it up and make sure everything was in good working order, her also took the time to show my daughter all of the functions, use the serial number to look up the year of manufacture, and emailed a PDF of the original manual. We will definitely be heading back here for all of our typewriter needs!”

12550 SW Main St, Tigard“A wild and chaotic store full of extremely interesting things, right in the middle of a revitalized downtown Tigard. Be sure to bring several bags and a heavy wallet!”
“A carefully curated and organized (and really beautiful) shop full of neat stuff. Focused on hardware, of course, but still one of the best antique shops I've been to.”
“My nephews love all things cards and this place is awesome. The 2 guys working were super helpful. It was really busy but they made time for them. Lots of options at good prices. We will be back”
“Such a gem of a place. Oregon City has a pretty aggressive thrifting scene and I always come out of here with something I thought was irresistible and priced fairly. Huge selection of games, glassware, old coins, military surplus, and more. An absolute stop if you're in town. Service is always knowledgeable and friendly!”
“This shop is nothing short but amazing, interesting, with a wonderful selection of oddities and trinkets! It is also just so fun to walk in and see what they got, as things tend to come and go! They also have an amazing oddities exhibit for such an affordable price! Please visit and support this wonderful family owned shop!”
“My husband and I love to antique and have done so throughout the country and even in parts of Europe. By far, this is the best antique mall we have ever been to. Beautifully curated and most booths were priced incredibly well. Our one regret was, we only had an hour to shop before catching a flight and had limited space left in our luggage.”

716 SW Madison St, Portland“After my last major birthday, and having had to deal with my parent’s estate, I decided that it was time to part with some of my own vintage jewelry.
Of course, I offered the pieces to my adult children, who were simply not interested.
I didn’t want these wonderful pieces to end up in “the scrap pile”.
The lovely buyer at Poor Mouchette listened to me and treated my pieces with the love and respect that they deserved. She was honest about valuations and made the process feel like a celebration.
We were offered a fair price and I left knowing that these treasures will go on to someone who will love the vintage pieces as much as my grandmother and I had loved them.
This is a wonderful business, run by a caring and talented artist.”

214 SE Alder St, Portland“After your visit to Cargo you should really swing by the fabulous shop. There’s so much more to Vermouth than your mom’s martini!
While you’re there check out the gorgeous glassware , bar set ups and tiki cups.
It’s all beautifully curated and you can lear a lot from Trent, your lovely and hospitable host.”
“I had the pleasure of working with Gary Germer & Associates for an appraisal and was thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism and expertise.
I received a prompt and courteous response. Despite the limitations of communicating via email, the team was able to provide a thorough assessment of the artwork in question, taking into account various factors such as artist attribution, provenance, condition, and market trends.
Not only was the appraisal evaluation quick and accurate, but it was presented in a clear and comprehensive manner, making it easy for me to understand the value. The level of expertise demonstrated instilled confidence in their assessment, and I have no doubt that their appraisal will be invaluable as I navigate the world of collecting.”

“Great experience here and got a great couch for my apartment. The gentleman was super helpful with my questions about material, feel, etc. Tape measures on site and he even helped me with measuring. Couch selection definitely varies so might be tough to find your needs but def worth a look. I did delivery and paid for assistance and they came the next day”
“Spent the day with my husband today visiting vintage shops around Portland. We had the most fun visiting this super cute place!! We shared with the owner, and with another nice guy working behind the counter, that it was our 30th wedding anniversary. Talk about going above and beyond! They spent lots of time, showing us many rings, explaining details about each one. Were we rushed??? Nope! Not at all! Felt so at ease just shopping and being shown excellent customer service! The super nice guy working behind the counter ( sorry I didn’t get his name!) was awesome! He gave us several suggestions of places to go for shopping and dinner on our special day!! Very down to earth, super nice people! If you’re looking for some cool Persian rugs this is a great place to go. Great deals!”
“My favorite spot to browse antiques in Portland! It feels like a hidden gem, with just the right balance of display and potential for rummaging. They are always so lovely and knowledgeable, and really went above and beyond for our furniture delivery. It’s tough for a collector to give up the dirt on a favorite spot, but I really want this family business to thrive. Long live R. Spencer Antiques!”
“Editing my initial rating after revisiting this large antique mall. My recent visit was wonderful. The folks who worked there were so sweet and I had such a good experience. This place is very large and the vendors clearly work incredibly hard to curate some really beautiful vintage. Give yourself time to wander. Lots of MCM/boho styles in particular. Got some lovely things and will be back next time I’m in town.”
“So much military collectibles put into one place! Just such a fun place to look and touch all of the history that they won’t let you touch in museums. Good people that are trying to make a living saving history from the dumpster for us to be able to enjoy.”

“Master restoration! Mike and his team refinished a Spindle Cherry Bedroom Set (4 pieces) which were dark stained and damaged in several places. They suggested a natural finish and the wood turned out stunning. I highly recommend this place for any treasures you may have!”

79 SE Taylor St #200, Portland“This store has a beautiful collection of well-curated antiques and art, and the customer service is exceptional. After eyeing a Chinese screen while visiting the store in Portland, I decided to buy it months later, and the store director Dan could not have been more helpful in arranging shipping and ensuring that I received the piece in good condition at my home in SF. He was extremely responsive and helpful. I look forward to visiting the store again during my next trip to Portland.”

“A lovely little ship filled with a wonderful assortment of antiques and oddities. I always swing through when they're open and I happen to strolling through downtown Gladstone and it's the first place I think of when I need a gift for someone.”
“Best Little Thrift Store ...all volunteers operate the store with a smile. All items are donated and in great condition...from new to vintage and the BEST part is the proceeds help people who struggle with addiction.”
