Great selection of wines well prices. Love finding varietals that can't be found in major grocery stores. Knowledgeable shopkeeper, with excellent suggestions. Also carries small selections of specialty foods. Highly recommend, great place to check out while in Newport.

This is where I go to buy wine. Personal service means a lot and the prices are not higher than the grocery markets. In fact, they carry a sparkling wine that is better and more economical than the cheap brands markets carry. 100% my favorite place.

A wonderful surprise when I was coming through the small town looking for some wine that would go with salmon and dill and the young man working there had many excellent recommendations and I thoroughly enjoyed everything he recommended

I pick up bottles of wine here often but tonight as I’m snuggled up with the bottle of rose Zachary helped me pick out, with the crackers he recommended (with butter! ?) I felt moved to write in. This place is always SO lovely! The wine selection can’t be beat, and the interesting snacks they also have are a treat. (That rhymed!) We are so lucky to have this place in Newport. Even if you (think you) know your wines, do yourself a favor and let Zachary guide you. He will not steer you wrong. You’ll be glad you did! I know I always am.

I look forward to any opportunity I can get to visit the Nye Beach Wine Cellar. You can tell the owner has given a lot of thought to every bottle he sells. His knowledge of Oregon wine in particular is impressive. I’ve never disliked a bottle he has recommended.

The person behind the counter was rude, insulting, and condescending. And the Bordeaux that he recommended was terrible. I usually trust a wine steward, but this guy was having a bad day.

Zach really knows his wines and is very helpful in finding wines that fit our tastes and budget. We always stop at least once whe we are in the area.
