The store was great. I bought lawn equipment for my yard. It's not Wilco fault, but i can't believe Casron is $129 per 25 lbs. Granted, the last time I bought this stuff was 15 yrs ago, but i paid under $20 for the stuff. I can't believe the chemicals cost went up that much. Its manufacturer of Casaron is speezing their customers.

I went in today and asked for some gloves, and a lady at the cash register asked me what kind, but I wasn't sure what she was asking so I just said work gloves and then all she did was point behind me and stayed still and eventually said " there ". When I went to get what I needed, that was the only place where all the types of gloves you would need from construction to gardening. So that's when I realized she was just being rude for whatever reason.
It was an older lady with a nose piercing which I'm talking about but when I got gloves and I was attended by another lady which was so polite and just simply did her job. I applaud her.

I've been a return customer for years among many different locations. Most stores have an excellent selection of merchandise however the Newberg location seems to have a little less options. The main reoccurring issue I've come across at this location is the staff. Almost every time I go I get this kind of condescending "know it all" attitude. One example was when I was purchasing chicks for my farm. (Im a 3rd generation farmer btw). I bring my supplies to the cashier asking for some stuff in the back. She informed me they were out of bedding pellets so I asked when they will have more. She glared at me and said "I dont know, probably sometime." ? then shes overlooking my chicken supplies and proceeds to question me if I know what Im buying and give me unwarranted advice on everything I was buying as if I've never seen a chicken in my life. Asking me if I knew what this or that was. Then she starts telling me how to care for the chicks. I stopped her and said "my family has been farming for the last 100 years." Later that week we decide to pick up one more chicken and the young girl said she can't sell us just one because they need to be in pairs. I had to again explain we had 5 at home.
-This is just the similar trend. Always undermining customer knowledge and patronizing us as if we know absolutely nothing about anything. My wife and I actually joke before we go and say "$10 bet that someone will start rattling off their (expertise) again." In addition the warehouse crew has always been very short and somewhat rude, snatching my ticket and silently getting my supplies. We also had a young girl glare at us on a forklift because we pulled around as she was moving pallets. Not to banter on but the general complaint is the staff is very smug. They routinley treat my wife and I like we have no idea what were doing and over advise us on basic products. Its pretty insulting when someones general assumption is you're uneducated. Hope this changes because we might find an alternative supply store vs dealing with difficult staff every time. Again, I don't mean to be negative but this is my honest expirence..

Great place to find products for pets, small and large, including horses, etc. Large treat selection for pets, cute baby chickens, potting materials, horseback equipment, clothes, shoes, fans, etc. I find Wilco to have decent prices and quality items. My go-to for pet bones and treats.

I come in regularly and almost every time is lovely. Except for when Justine is our cashier. I would normally never write a review about someone so specifically but I don’t wanna drag the whole crew down because of one bad egg. Today I took the time to read her name tag so I knew who to call out. I have never been met with such a snotty attitude by a cashier, ever. I understand bad days but you’re at work. I don’t want to make the effort to be nice to people I come into contact with briefly either. And I’m not getting paid for it, but it’s the least you can do. And when you hand the loading dock ticket and receipt to a person, it’s literally the bare minimum to actually hand the receipt to someone, rather than toss it on the counter right in front of my outreached hand, roll your eyes and turn around and talk to your coworkers behind you who are all circled around chatting. It only takes a second to turn a 30 second encounter into a mediocre one… nobody is asking for you to move mountains but a thank you, have a nice day.. would suffice.
