Pam, the vet tech, is absolutely stellar! We had an appointment today and she was the epitome of kindness, friendliness, and generosity. She answered our questions graciously and even took a photo of my sweet family with our puppy that I get to keep to remember this season if life. Couldn’t let a day go by without leaving her a review! It really filled my heart with gratitude. You are amazing Pam!

Roger actually got his sweet dog, Willie, from Newberg Veterinary Hospital(via Yamhill County Animal Shelter ). Willie was found in McMinnville and taken to Newberg vet. They celebrate his birthday starting on September 15, 2010. Willie was loved and very, very well taken care of there. Whenever we traveled he was boarded at Newberg vet and had many friends! He loved them all and his tail always wagged going to visit. Through the years his health slowly declined, but he still loved going to Newberg Vet. On his last days, he had stopped eating, and we knew it was time to let him go. The love and compassion from Newberg Vet was truly from his second family that shared so much history with him.

I am a veterinarian and contacted Newberg Vet on the recommendation of a therio colleague at Oregon State, who had mentioned he trained one of their doctors to perform vasectomies.
After navigating their convoluted phone system, I was able to talk to a receptionist to see about having a vasectomy performed on my personal dog. The receptionist was extremely rude giving me "we only do standard neuters" with no desire to continue the conversation or to provide more guidance. I tried to ask about their doctor who was trained in vasectomies and was given the same response in an even more curt voice.

We have been clients of Newberg Veterinary Hospital for almost four years. After every visit, I have always been very pleased with the service that we received. As a Mother of Dogs (currently four labs) flexibility is very important to me when unexpected issues come up. They are great when providing routine care for adults and puppies but excel when more urgent matters have cropped up.

So pleased with the service at Newberg Hospital. The staff and doctors were so helpful
and friendly. Checked me in when I walked in and had we in the examining room on time.
All questions were answered and my puppy was not afraid of them. Thank You.

I had an incredible experience with Newberg Veterinary Hospital when they took my dog in for an emergency C-section, despite never having seen us before. The staff was exceptionally kind, going above and beyond to provide compassionate care during a stressful time. They were incredibly helpful, ensuring that I was informed and reassured throughout the entire process. Their professionalism and genuine concern for my dog's well-being were truly amazing. I am deeply grateful for their prompt and expert intervention, which made all the difference for my pet. I highly recommend Newberg Veterinary Hospital for their outstanding service and care.

Cannot say enough good things about this vet. Wonderful & compassionate family owned business! They are amazing & have taken wonderful care of my pets. Love the whole team not only their very experienced doctors but receptionists & vet techs! I have never had a vet treat my pets as kindly as they have… when a pet stays there it is getting snacks from techs on lunch break, lots of snuggles & as you can see in the photo they even put little cut out hearts on my girls IV wrap when she was struggling ❤️. They put their hearts into their patients and treat them as family members not just another name on a chart.
I see reviews about wait times if you don’t have a pre-scheduled appointment etc but I think people need to understand that Newberg is one of the few vets left out there that takes walk-in’s when their clients have an emergency vs telling them to go to an emergency clinic because they don’t have an appointment available (like most vets do)… yes you may have to wait to be seen as a walk-in but it is nothing like 2-6 hour wait you would have at an ER. And being able to see my regular vet at an affordable price in an emergency is an amazing thing for them to offer their patients. Because of this I feel like the receptionists especially deserve more appreciation than they are given… they have tons of clients calling wanting immediate attention & handle it all with kindness & patience. Despite everything they have on their plate they have always been so amazing to me & I truly feel so lucky to be able to go to them.
I had to make the tough decision to euthanize a pet with permanent paralysis yesterday and Dr Cassie Weber sat on the floor with me & talked everything through m for as long as I needed to feel at peace about it, shared about putting down her personal pet to help me feel better & was honestly just the best. Not once did I feel rushed or pressured & despite it being such a painful thing to do they made it such a peaceful experience for my pet. Thanks for all you guys do to keep local animals happy & heathy. I seriously am so thankful you guys exist & will be a lifetime client!

It doesn't matter who we see, my animals always get great care. It was great to see Dr. Fischer though.

I was told to arrive here on a Tuesday in the p.m. by the staff. When I got there the place was closed, they had an early close that particular day. I knocked on the door and got the attention of someone that was still there. That person came and opened the door and I asked why I would have been told to come there on a day in which they knew they were going to be closed? I also asked if they could just take the blood draw, which is all that was needed, and analyze it the following day. My responses were 1) I don't know why they told you to come today, and 2) No.
I'm not quite sure if I've ever been so pissed off before by the mistreatment of a business.

Nice people, just poor communication skills. I had to call them just to find out that had denied my Costco dogs flea refill 3 times because they wanted an exam. I understand they want to see him, but the only apt they had was 100 days from today???? That doesn't seem logical. Fleas and ticks don't wait. Why did I have to call to find they dropped the ball? Sad to say, but looking for a better Veterinary Clinic.

My dogs were clients here for years, during which time they received a great deal of my money. When my senior dog had a serious issue that I could not afford, they simply couldn't care less & were more than happy to show me the door. I'm pushing 60 & recently lost nearly everything, including my home, so I am destitute & was desperately trying to save my dog's life as I was reduced to begging them to just take a look at him. As they cold-heartedly & adamantly refused, I expressed my disappointment & dissatisfaction with some choice words & at that point they made the decision to cut us off completely, leaving my little guy to suffer & perish w/o receiving any medical help. They refused to accept an apology for me hurting their feelings, when the animal's life should've been all that mattered. Easily one of the most devastating & soul-crushing experiences of my entire life. This place is definitely corporate over caring as profit is the bottom line. Look somewhere else for compassionate care for your animals. The complete indifference & lack of humanity was absolutely appalling & something I wouldn't wish on anyone. He was a good boy & a huge part of my life and I am now alone & heartbroken beyond words.

This is, by far, the best veterinary hospital I have ever visited! Dr. Weber has gone above and beyond to care for my little dog.
I am grateful my son recommended that I bring my pup here for care!
