Talked to Brian on the phone and
Sam helped me select beef-steaks. Very happy with the packaging, quality and selection. Thanks Meadow Harvest for my birthday steaks!

I purchased some of Meadow Harvest's grass fed beef and lamb from their neighbor who travels to Portland on a regular basis. Along with the delivery he brought some complimentary heirloom tomatoes, hot peppers, and peaches preserved in cinnamon (also from their farm). That was a pleasant surprise, and their meat is so much better than what you get at the grocery store! Highly recommend! Five Stars!

Grass fed beef and lamb! Brian is very nice. Gave me some charcoal and a lamb chop to try. Fun and friendly place.

We stayed at Meadow Harvest's guest house through AirBnB. The accommodations were lovely, and we purchased a few lamb racks and shanks before we left. Oh my goodness. I have never tasted such delicious lamb. My mind was blown, and I'll be making a point to seek it out on future trips to Oregon.

I was at the Manzanita Farmers' Market. We had had visitors to our beach house for the last week who were vegetarians--not that there is anything wrong with that (joke!)--but my wife and I were craving meat and we had meat eaters coming over, so I was thinking about a roast for Sunday dinner and these guys were there. I had a long conversation with them about what roasts they had available and settled on a butterflied leg of lamb. I went home and roasted the lamb with garlic and rosemary and had the most delicious Sunday roast you can imagine! At the next Manzanita Farmers' Market, I went up to them and said hey, your lamb rocked! and I told him how I'd prepared it and how much I loved it. Brian looked at me and said 'you rock too!' We had a big conversation about their farm, very interesting, and I found that it is possible to buy direct from them when the farmers' market, call ahead and you can pick up direct from them. Can't do better than that. It was only at the end our conversation when I went to shake Brian's hand, I realized that he was blind (or almost so). What a team and a labor of love. Whoever is reading this...please go and try these guys. They really love what they are doing, and they do it well--the meat is fabulous. Trust me you will be glad you support your local grower!
