Valley Tire should not be the Name of this fantastic Local Business. Family Tire better captures the true Vibe of this place.
The waiting Area is about as “Zen” as it gets which makes passing time while they busily do what needs done, far more enjoyable.
You know you are at a good place when the Store Manager genuinely feels bad about being the messenger when there is bad but truthful things he must tell you.
I was a Pilot in the Air Force for over 18 Years and Medically Retired with PTSD. Life can be stressful which if you have PTSD, this stress can be consuming. What a relief it was when I first returned to Oregon after over two decades away and they immediately knew what was wrong with my vehicle and how to fix it. Talk about peace of mind! Plus, the prices were extremely fair and up front.
Then a few months later while coming back from Diamond Lake, small Logs were in the Road and it destroyed my alignment. They took care of me again, returning much needed Peace to this Fully Disable Veteran.
I write this review today from the Zen waiting room as they again have Saved the Day. As long as I can reach Valley Tire, I will never go anywhere else to include Les Schwab (a great place, just not Valley Tire). After my Parents saved 400 bucks on new tires at Valley I know they would also throw up 5 Stars, six of that option existed.
Don’t take my word for it. Just go there and you will know you are where you need to be in order to get back on your Journey.

I purchased four new tires and had them Mounted and balanced. The next day when I got on the freeway, it had a very bad shake, So I went back and asked them to see if I lost any weights since I specifically asked for the ones that stick on and not the clip on ones the previous day, he reassured me they were all still there but I asked him to balance them again anyways, he then told me I had a “hop” meaning I’d eventually need to get new rims . So I went down the street to Les Schwab and had to pay them to balance, they all had the clip on weights besides one didn’t have any at all.

What a joke scheduled an alignment and for four brand new tires to be mounted and balanced waited around for 2 weeks for them to tell me they don't take carry inns for tires. Then have the nerve to ask me who I talked to on the phone like they don't know, It's on the computer. They lost all buisness from me and anyone else I know. Waisted two weeks. PEANUT GALLERY. 1 STAR WAS TO MANY

This place has been in business for over 60 years that I can remember. When I was a little kid, my dad did business here.

This is the best tire store that I have ever done business with. I took my car in to have a tire checked because it was leaking air monthly. They found a small nail and repaired the tire. Free of charge. They are now my only tire store. If you're ever in myrtle creek, these are the guys you should go and see.

Wow! Had low tire pressure come on and pulled right in. Not only were they so communicative but taught me a thing or two about my car. Genesis was such a delight and 10 minutes later my problem was solved. A very large nail was found and only $15! Highly recommend them and will go back!!!

Destroy cars and blame you for their poor work. Also charge more than what they say they will.

Here is the story- I’m a solo female traveler on a road trip with my dog from San Diego, CA. So I’m a long way from home when my tire explodes in a small town just before sun down. For some reason the tire shop in that small town cannot help me even though they claim to be a 24 hour AAA towing establishment. They give me the number to Valley Center Tire in Myrtle Creek and I wait in their parking lot as it gets darker and darker for my tow truck. It’s getting darker and the tow truck time keeps getting pushed back and panic starts to set in a little bit. But then the owners of Valley Center Tire showed up to take a look at my tire size to confirm they had the right size. The second they arrived my panic subsided. They were immediately kind and understanding and could see that I was panicked and a little scared. The lovely lady owner was literally wearing a sweatshirt that said “Be Kind” and one of the first things she said to me was “You’re safe here, you’re alright.” Any woman reading this knows what those words meant to me in that moment. They confirmed that they had the tire size and my tow truck arrived (also a nice dude!) and I was at their shop in about 30 min. Yes, they opened their shop at 8 PM to help a girl out. Once there it was seamless. They replaced the tire. Showed me the old tire and even bagged it up for me to try to get a little money back as the tire was brand new. They checked my other 3 tires to make sure I was safe and good to go. The whole thing took about 20 mins. Their shop is beautiful and you can tell they take a ton of pride in what they do. We chatted about our pups a bit before I headed out and I safely made it to Eugene OR later that night. These are kind humans who deserve 100 stars. I’m so grateful to them for literally taking care of me last night. I left the tire shop in tears- grateful for the reminder that we are meant to look out for one another and to be kind to everyone we meet because you have no idea if their tire just exploded, or their kid is sick or they just lost a job etc etc etc. Grateful for the power of road trips and this lovely little tire shop.
