Had a John Deere 450b engine rebuilt here. Gasket set provided didn't come with either a water pump gasket or a thermostat housing gasket. Could get a rebuilt engine mail order for $5000 but was charged $9000 here. They declined to fully assemble the engine and didn't even bolt the pan on I almost got a short block back. I had to ask for an itemized bill to get some idea of the cost of parts compared to labor but didn't get one even though I asked for one. I'm afraid I can't recommend having work done here even though they seem to be busy.

I had my intake on my powerstroke cleaned here about a year ago. They did a really good job and it didn't take too long.

I first contacted Grumpy's on the 1st December 2023. I need parts for my two old 1979 Mercruiser 228 (Chev 305) V8 engines.They were terrifically helpful in advising me what parts I need and how to check the sizes etc. I then sent them a list on the 8th Dec of all the parts I needed, they create a list so we could ship everything together. I paid on the 11th Dec and they shipped. As I am in Australia I did not expect delivery until mid to end January. Surprise surprise turned up to today 24-12-23.What fantastic service. Have fallen in love with Grumpy's. Will have my boat back in the water in two weeks time instead of 8 to 10.

Brought my car in for diagnostics because the engine light came on. They told me it would be $1800 but was not clear about what that was for. I came to pick up my vehicle without having it repaired and they charged me $338 for a diagnostic, the guy is a CROOK. Don't bring your car to this place! Bad news!!!

BEWARE!!!!!!!! TERRIBLE, NON RELIABLE, lack of communication, uncalled for charges from their mess ups, (you WILL pay for their mistakes) this is not the place to bring your car to. Plan on them taking their sweet time on your dime, we were constantly being put on the back burner. Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!Services: Engine repair

I did not need to have any car repairs but I did need some parts and a little bit of help which they gave to me willingly and cheerfully. When I do need car work done I will definitely give them consideration
