Cute store with authentic clothes. Owner was friendly and helpful when we were there in person. Left my info and was told I'd hear back in a few days because they didn't have my size in stock. After multiple phone calls and emails over the next 4-5 weeks we never received a reply to any of them and was completely ghosted. With my trip to Germany coming up in 31 days it really puts me in a bind to find some.

The Cider is luxurious tasting here. The outdoor seating is heated in winter, and the store has the CUTEST German gifts you can imagine. Take a peek!! Friendly storekeeper too :)

Today we (some bavarians) visited the shop. We were suprised by the amount of original bavarian clothing, mugs and more and had a great talk with the shop owner! We regret that we were unable to visit the Oktoberfest in Mt Angel.Servus und Habediehre!?⚪?⚪

Perfect one stop shopping for all your Bavarian clothing and accessories. They spend the time to make sure your garments fit correctly, even so far as which side your apron ties are placed, yes it does make a difference. All in all you will leave feeling like you had a personal stylist. Touch of Bavaria is easy to locate, if in doubt just ask any one in Mt. Angel, bet they will point the way with a smile on their face.

It's a little harder to find a good dirndl or a pair of lederhosen in Mount Angel than you would think, because Touch of Bavaria is tucked away, in the back of an old blacksmith's shop, a little ways away from what I consider to be "town square", where the Glockenspiel is located. However, a couple short blocks up the way towards St. Mary's Catherdral, you'll find said blacksmith's shop, and sequestered within, the entrance to Touch of Bavaria. This shop is *THE* premier location to buy high quality Bavarian clothing in the PNW. Everything seems to be hand-stitched or imported from quality European vendors, and made of authentic materials. Lots of leather, lace, suspenders and stockings here! No Spirit Halloween knockoffs to be found anywhere. That being said, be prepared to pay higher yet appropriate, reasonable prices for quality and authenticity. No amount of convincing will ever get *me* into any lederhosen, but my wife goes gaga for a pretty dirndl, so Touch of Bavaria is always a must-stop in Mount Angel. And if you're ever in the mood to dress up for the Oktoberfestivities, you should too!

A great place to see some history, talk about hats and clothing, and get guide advice for Mt. Angel's wonderful stores.
