Visited for an event and got to tour the rooms. The whole place was sparkling clean, cozy, and decorated in a beautiful way. I appreciate the work the owners put to make the town livelier and more connected, in the way they host events, and promote local businesses and fun events in town.

This was my first time in a bed and breakfast and after my experience it won't be my last. Even before I arrived I was impressed with their website which was full of tips and links to help me plan my trip. Emily and Eli were great hosts: I was welcomed and shown around but then given the space to do my own thing while knowing they were easily reachable if needed. I stayed in the Starry Night room which has a cool painted ceiling and a huge attached bathroom. There were so many special touches...welcome cookies, a coffee/tea station in my room, complimentary robe and bath products, and plenty of plugs ins for electronics. I lucked out with weather and was able to spend one evening out in the backyard where there's a gazebo with cozy chairs and a pretty flower trellis. For a rainy day there's a whole wall of movies, books, and games you can use.Monmouth itself is a good central location to easily get to Portland, the coast, and lots of wineries. It was easy to walk to multiple businesses from the B&B. Would recommend dinner, drinks, and live music at Dry Town Tap Station, dessert at Main Street Ice Cream Parlor, and chai tea at The Sippery.

Innkeepers were attentive to needs but not overbearing wanting to be sure I got what I needed from the stay which I did and more. The soak in the beautiful Starry Night tub …aaaah.Rooms: You’d have to see the rooms to believe how quaint and comfy.Nearby activities: Nearby wineries, eateries, parks, walking paths, local events not to mention the university!

Went to Oregon to compete in The Ironman 70.3 event and wanted to stay a bit out of the hubbub of activity in Salem. We could not have chosen better. The house was full and all the guests were Ironman athletes, leading to great conversations.Emily and Eli are incredible hosts. Our breakfast on the patio was superb! Easy walking to restaurants, feeling of being at home. Will definitely return if we go to this area again!

Based on reviews and pictures I had pretty high expectations and they were far exceeded. Everything about this Bed and Breakfast is exceptional to include the hosts making for a wonderful experience. MaMere's is a rare find that I most highly recommend.

What a wonderful experience my husband and I had staying here. We had never been to the town before and MaMere's was a great central location to lots of walkable places to explore. Ample street parking, easy check-in, good communication. We ended up being the only people staying that evening and found it delightful. There are games downstairs that you can borrow, so we did so. There was complimentary tea in the room as well as downstairs, and lots of information on the history of the home and the area. The room itself where the bed was definitely reflected a time period where rooms weren't meant to be giant, but it was ample for the two of us and our one carry-on each. The bathroom, though, was a room in itself which was very nice.Breakfast was very pleasant and well thought out. Our hostess was great fun to talk to and spent time with us, which is good since my husband is a talker. She was very nice to speak with about kids since I was a little over 6 months pregnant at the time. The hospitality here makes it special. We will go out of our way to stay here again if we are near the area in the future.

Had a great anniversary getaway; we packed a lot of fun into 24 hours (biked out to Illahe Vineyard, played some card games, explored Monmouth and Independence, ate tasty food, chilled with books). MaMere’s is super comfortable and Eli and Emily are great hosts. Lovely breakfast and a delightful place to hang out!

This is a lovely historic home right next to the Monmouth town square. Emily as host was so kind, and the starry night room was adorable. Loved learning about the history of the house, which neighbors Western Oregon University. Would highly recommend this spot for your visit to the beautiful Willamette Valley!

Wonderful place with the nicest people. We stayed 2 nights and had 2 breakfasts - each different and excellent. We had a chance to visit with Emily while at breakfast and learned how she ended up in such a nice place. All in all we would recommend this to anyone visiting the southern Willamette Valley for relaxation. We did a wine tasting tour but only managed a few is 2 days. We will probably be back.

We rented the whole house for our wedding weekend and it was absolutely fabulous - Emily and Eli are SO nice and helpful, the house is gorgeous and has so many delightful details, and the carriage house and patio were perfect for holding our Welcome Party. We will definitely be back and highly recommend MaMere's!

We loved it here. We arrived at 10PM and they were so accommodating of our late arrival. There was no staff there that late, but that wasn't a problem at all because everything was self-explanatory and I believe the innkeeper lives on-site or nearby if needed. There were plenty of books and board games downstairs and we could've used the kitchen if we wanted to. The room itself was beautiful (and clean!). We stayed in the Starry Night room and it was so nice and cozy. There's a Keurig machine in the room with some coffee and tea pods. But the best thing was the jar of cookies they gave us. The bathroom was huge. There was a white noise machine provided, along with travel-sized toothpaste, Poo-Pourri, q-tips, and even ear plugs! The ear plugs are definitely handy because this is an older building and I would imagine that you may be able to hear floors creaking, people in the hallways etc. Not that we had that problem because we were lucky enough to have the entire house to ourselves! I would stay here again if I returned to the area.

Beautiful historic home. Clean, comfortable, with so many special, thoughtful touches. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts were so kind and welcoming. And the took extra special care of us since it was so hot--they made sure we were comfortable. Definitely recommend!
