“My wife and I got married here last month and we cannot possibly recommend the Home Place Farm enough for whatever event you’re planning.

The grounds are gorgeous and well-kept, there are countless amenities available for whatever comes up, the crystal clear views of the mountains on a clear day and we got access to it for three whole days for an extremely reasonable price. If you’re planning and setting up your own wedding then you need to know how valuable having a set-up day and clean-up day on either side of the wedding is and at the Home Place Farm, no one is rushing you out the door. We felt welcomed and supported in every way.

Lastly, that brings us to the owner. Holly was the absolute best!!! She is so kind, welcoming, supportive, and available without ever being overbearing. She gave us guidelines and rules to follow for the venue and property and then left us to set-up. We had her phone number and she answered every text and call quickly and would immediately come answer questions, deliver random odds and ends we realized we needed, and she was even in there helping clean-up in the end out of the goodness of her heart!

Our experience here was amazing, our day was amazing and we wouldn’t have changed a thing. Give the Home Place Farm and Holly your business, you won’t be disappointed!!!”

A Dream Come True – The Perfect LOTR Wedding!

We had our wedding at Lavender Owl Farm, and we truly could not have asked for a more magical experience. From the beginning, Lesley and Melissa went above and beyond to make our wedding everything we dreamed of—and more.

Our theme was The Lord of the Rings, and Lesley (the owner and officiant) created the most beautiful and heartfelt ceremony, filled with meaningful Tolkien references and touches of nerd culture that made it feel personal, unique, and unforgettable.

The venue itself is absolutely breathtaking. Surrounded by nature, every corner feels alive with beauty. You can see how everything was built with respect and love for the land, blending harmoniously with the trees and natural landscape. It’s not only stunning—it’s also very accessible and thoughtfully designed.

They also took care of the decor, setup, and all venue services, which allowed us to relax and truly enjoy the day. The bridal suite was cozy, elegant, and comfortable—perfect for preparing and spending quiet moments before the ceremony.

Everything flowed perfectly, every detail was handled with care, and the result was even better than we ever imagined. Lavender Owl Farm didn’t just host our wedding—they brought our fantasy to life.
