We had an awesome time feeding the alpacas! You can purchase a bag of feed from the store and feed the alpacas in two areas. One section has the female alpacas and males are in a different outside area. The female alpacas we tried to feed were not as interested in us so we tried our luck with the males. The three males at the feeding area welcomed the food. One of them would try to eat out of our hand when one of their buddies is already eating.
I recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind having spit on. My husband got some spit splatter on his jacket when we were trying to feed one of the female alpacas.
There is a wide selection of items in the gift shop and we left with a stuffed animal that looks just like the voracious eater we met at this ranch.
Come have some fun with the alpacas!

A whole load of family went down to Marquam Hill Alpaca Farm during business hours on a beautiful, brisk, Fall day.
We had family visiting from out of the country and wanted to show them a great scenic tour.
Unlike some alpaca farms I have visited, we were unable to mingle with the alpacas, except through the gate, but it was fun to feed them, nevertheless. It cost $5/ small bag of feed and the alpacas were very competitive. They spit at you when they don't get the attention. Again, a little different than the experiences I've had previously.
The babies were way off in the distance and were fun to see.
The gift shop had a nice assortment, very spendy. It was hard to find a cost effective trinket for all the kids to have a fun little alpaca-oriented souvenir.

Alpacas at Marquam Hill Ranch is an amazing place to visit! They have a great store full of Alpaca merchandise and teach visitors about the Alpacas. We started off in 2018 with four Alpacas born at the ranch and have enjoyed having them around our farm. We visit several times each year just to see Bill and Jennifer!

I took my visiting grandchildren to see the Alpacas at Marquam Hill.The staff and owners are very friendly and informative. It was fun to learn about them. We were able to feed and pet them, which shows a bit of their different personalities!They have a cute gift shop filled with wonderful items made from the alpacas fleece. Most of which come directly from the makers in South America where the owner travels to and hand picks them.Will definitely take my other grandchildren there when they come to visit!

I highly recommend a visit to Alpacas at Marquam Hill Ranch, it does not disappoint! Bill and Jennifer Cameron are the best hosts and teach you so much about Alpacas. Our grandchildren loved the ranch! The store has so many beautiful products to choose from. Great place for gifts, Christmas shopping, and more. We love Alpacas at Marquam Hill Ranch! Highly recommend you visit!

From our first visit to Marquam Hills Alpaca Ranch, we were impressed with the fun, relaxed, yet informative atmosphere of the Ranch. We went back several times, enjoying being up close & personnel with the alpacas, learning so much about them, & visiting the gift shop! We actually purchased 4 alpacas from the owners Jennifer & Bill. They have been so supportive to us as new alpaca owners, & have helped us immensely, numerous times, with our new hobby.

Bill and Jennifer Cameron care deeply about their alpacas and their visitors experience. Every time I stop by the ranch I see how happy the alpacas are and it brightens my day. The knowledge they share during the tours and the connection that is made when interacting with the alpacas makes for the best experience. I highly recommend visiting this ranch!
