Yeah, they have some items. All the usual stuff is locked up, however it takes so long to get someone to unlock it that it felt like I was being punished for their crime problem. After leaving the razor blade selection to find an employee, she asked the key holder if he could do it and he informed her that he was on break. Uhhhhh ok, so I'm just screwed?? She somehow found a key and got my razor blades, however I couldn't use my credit card because no one could bypass the pin (they tried to convince me I must have a pin, even after I informed them multiple times that that's not how credit cards work and even showed them that my debit pin doesn't work). They can't accept Apple Pay either. I wasted my entire break at this Walmart just to not get my razor blades and not get my lunch. I'd skip this place if you use either of those payment methods or value your time.

Had an order pickup and all the produce was rotten. Unfortunately really needed the support that day and it was the reason I didn't shop myself.

Special shout out today to all the upfront workers I talked with and how much friendlier, capable and unstressed they are becoming. This may really be important if Kroger buys Safeway. Just to ruin it like Fred's. More folks will shop here and this "trying to be an actual grocery store" approach may become as nonpersonal as WinCo or Grocery Outlet, but with 2x the current amount of shoppers. Here's their chance to really steal market share. First, start by having a "real" Deli. Not a "trying to be" one. Are the meats in the deli case the same as when the store originally opened? Will they have hot food today? Or after 2 p.m. And why does the Dairy, (enclosed milk refrigerator area) look like the aftermath of a Black Friday sale? Just not enough store volume to keep it stocked? Probably all the decisions are at a corporate level and no input is accepted? Other than the prices don't seem that great for a Walmart reputation, this store has surpassed Fred Meyer for customer service. And it "ain't" much and they are not the cheapest. But, it has gotten a little better over the years and the workers are aware, but cannot say to management, what their customers complaints are. Cooperate knows. And they are hiring more workers and heating and cooling the building better. No bags? Not a fan. But, you can take your receipt and your items in the cart out to the car. Who hasn't forgotten their reusable bags? Paraphrasing Tom Cruise in "Collateral", adapt. We're all our own cashiers or checkers. I never saw that one coming.

It would be great to know at the front doors that this store doesn't offer reusable plastic or paper bags for the .05-.10 charge. Not only do I have to check out my own groceries, because there wasn't any staff available at the checkouts, but I was also told the only bags offered are their cloth bags for $1 each. I won't buy anymore cloth bags because they get dirty after using them only a couple of times. I don't want to keep putting my food into dirty bags for months at a time. Especially when there's meat that could drip in the bags. I'm not going to reuse that. They're a waste of money. I ended up piling my groceries back into the cart and then piling them into my suv without bags because I wasn't going to buy $10-$15 worth of their small, thin, cloth bags. I absolutely would have purchased paper bags at .10 each because I reuse those for several different things besides putting my food back into them. What do you do for the customers who pay with food stamps? Their benefits don't cover your cloth bags. Are they forced to carry all of their loose groceries if they can't pay for your cloth bags and didn't know to bring their own? What if they walked to the store or took a bus? What if they're in a power wheel chair? There wasn't any checkers available to checkout customers but THREE woman stood at the conveyor belt type self checkouts, doing absolutely nothing except for chatting about what Netflix shows that they recently started to watch. I proceeded to check out about $400 worth of groceries while listening to them also complain about their day. Standing around chatting about Netflix for $15 an hour must be super stressful. As I was leaving the store another employee, who was standing around another set of self checkouts, suddenly turned around, drinking out of a bottle, and walked right into my cart. When I said excuse me she very rudely told me to have a nice day. She crashed into me and then had a crappy attitude... Ha! I'll stick with doing all my shopping at other stores.

I only go here for a couple of things that I can't find anywhere else. Customer service is crap. I'm in here with my kid, he's wailing. I get to the checkout, and there's no option open but self-checkout. I ask for help, but the lady tells me, "I'm the only one here." I say "So that's a no?". She replies, "That's a no.". Kid continues to wwil about bananas as I finish my checkout. At some point, I'm directed to ask for an associate, and so I do. It's a different person!! So she WASN'T the only associate there, she just didn't feel like being accommodating to a busy mom with a crying toddler. So yeah, lousy customer service. Manager: this was on Sept 4, around 8:30 am, and the employee was a short woman with dark hair. She needs to be more helpful.

I wasn't sure what to expect for a grocery only Walmart and honestly was pleasantly surprised at the shopping here. It seemed as if the experience at this type of Walmart was so much better than the standard store due to the people shopping. Groceries only, no frills and excess stuff that draws in people on a different hunt. This store is clean and shoppable, stocked well with a multitude of options and priced reasonable as well. Good store and a good alternative to the other grocery stores in the area.

Love the store. Pretty good layout. Employee's pretty nice. Wayne's my favorite IDK what happened to him, but I miss seeing him at the checkout. He always made my day.

So, just like with a lot of people here, I don't expect perfection from Walmart. I do however expect to be treated like a human being, and be respected, just like I respect you. I work in the sales industry, work in customer relations and customer service, so I know what I'm talking about when it comes to saying, you treat your customer or potential customer with respect, even if your having a bad day. Period. I want to give a shout out to Jennifer, who works in the customer service department at the Walmart, here in Milwaukie, OR. on McLoughlin Blvd. I don't know what is going on in your life. I don't know what problems you have. I don't what you struggle with on a daily basis. I do know that it was not okay for you to be rude to my daughter when she called to ask if you had something specific in stock. I do know that it was rude when I called back because my daughter was confused on why you couldn't really help her out, and why you were rude to her, or that you couldn't figure out how to look something up on your computer properly. I do know that when I called, and asked you about the same product, Kor Shots, a little wellness shot that Walmart sells, only in store, I asked you why you didn't really give my daughter the time of day, you AGAIN, were extremely rude to me. You cut me off, wouldn't even let me explain, that last week, we were in your store, and bought the same product I was calling about, you refused to even hear me out. You cut me off and out right told me that your Walmart does not sell this product anymore. When I looked online after our conversation, your store specifically, had this product in stock. So, I drove from Clackamas, to Milwaukie to buy a Kor Shot for my daughter, and to make it a point to let you know that you were in the wrong. When I came into the store, I not only instantly found Kor Shots in stock on your shelves, but there were probably 40 in stock, 2 different kinds of Kor Shots even. So when I came up to the customer service desk to explain that I was upset with your lack of customer services skills, and that literally, I felt that you didn't know you had this item in stock, so you did a Google search, and saw that other places like Whole Foods and Amazon sell this item, thats all you looked at, your reaction was not what I expected from an older lady working in CUSTOMER SERVICE at Walmart. I tried to show you what the Kor Shot looked like, and explain to you that your store sells this. You wouldn't have any of that. You just wanted to continue to be rude, and treat me like I didn't matter. Like I wasn't an equal human being, just like you. When I tried to explain to you that it wasn't okay the way you treated my daughter or myself, your response was unbelievable. You told me talk to your supervisor, go ahead and get you fired, do you a favor. Listen Jennifer, I don't know what you have going on in your life that effects your ability to treat other human beings as if they are human beings, but I am sorry for you. My family will be praying for you to find peace and hopefully figure out where in your life you need some help. Walmart, maybe you should teach your employees about respect and treating others like they want to be treated.

Another day, another person holding up a 20 person line because their $1.00 off coupon isn't working. How is the same story at every wallmart across the country?

I shop here weekly and I love the staff! They've always helped me find what I need and if it's in the back or not when they're out of stock.

Not a fan of Walmart itself as they broke 12 cases of jars that were delivered to me but the people at this location were incredibly helpful and helped me get them all returned and get my money refunded which I greatly appreciated.

I do not understand the other reviews of this Walmart. I have been here three times and the service has been way friendlier and quicker than the 2 closest "F" stores. The store is clean and the prices are good. The end.

Found a rotten apple in the stack and you know what they say!! So I will stick to other grocers for my produce. I went there out of convenience and paid the price. I wonder what else they dropped the call on.

I got charged double for one of my grocery items because the cashier did not know what she was doing. The prices are not really different than other stores, despite their claims for lower prices.
