Recently, my grandmother passed away and I inherited a ceremonial Spanish Artillery sword, and went here to try to sell it. I walked in and the guy behind the counter took one look at me and said "we don't have good luck with swords," and then proceeded to answer the phone while I was standing there.If you would like ANY modicum of customer service, go to A1 Hawk.

I had a computer/much used/needed tablet, that fell and broke and there I was. And of course with no extra monies. I started to pull together my personal jewelry for extra cash in a hurry. As I needed a replacement. This pawn shop was beyond gracious, but was so super helpful, and so efficient. They took real good care of me and met my needs. I walked away a very ‘HAPPY CAMPER’. Love this place! Jeff is an amazing rep. He took his time with us. Where others make you feel as though you need to hurry and decide. (When looking through their inventory)Jeff let us take our time. Even showed us another section we missed which was 50 % off!.We walked away with freebies & felt confident in the decision we made on a absolutely gorgeous garnet & diamond ring for my daughter. It was elegant, modern & classy. Plus half off.My purchase, a Lenovo laptop we saved 50 bucks off the asking price. And Jeff threw in a 6 month warranty. Plus its touchscreen! I’ve been doing business with the Gladstone/Milwaukie store for awhile.Pretty good staff, friendly, professional, fairly knowledgeable and willing to negotiate a little.Typically expect to receive about a third of what your Valuables are worth if your seeking cash.

Always seems to have “staffing issues” and closes 4 or 5 hours early. This place is normally ok when they’re actually open. But now it seems like the whole thing is a friggin guessing game. Going to have to start calling several hours ahead of time to ask “Hey, you guys actually going to be open today?!”
