Safeway in general is a good store. Clean and usually well stocked. Most employees are helpful and considerate. The pricing can be a bit high though compared to other stores like Fred Meyer, Walmart or Winco.

No wonder why Safeway sold out. I worked at this location for almost two months. The Manager! Wanted me to work slower. Because that's what my boss told me to do. Most people would like their employees to go faster. This is the first time in my life I've ever been told to slow down at a job. I feel slowing down makes the day longer and I refused. I would rather look for a different job, than to work slower! If Safeway could have gotten MORE work instead of less out of there people. Maybe they wouldn't have had to sell..

I am recovering from covid (testing negative finally) and did not want to risk anyone else by coming inside, but I was completely out of groceries. I ordered for pickup. The entire process was awful. I tried ordering to the closest one off King Rd. It let me build the full order and select a time. Once I added the 30 off coupon, suddenly there were no times available.. Took it off, and the time was back. Hmm.
Okay, so I make my order at the Webster Rd location. Build my order, it tells me my total and accepts the coupon. Then it processes and charges my card the full amount, not honoring the coupon. Whatever, I still need food and I didn't have the energy to argue or beg for them to make it right. While it was great that the order was done much earlier than quoted, I would have much rather waited longer than 8 minutes, if it meant I actually got what I ordered. Attached will be screenshots and pictures. From the moment they started my order to when they finished it, was 8 minutes. They claim the Santitas chips were not available and neither was the shredded chicken. Both did not have substitutes, they claimed. I found that pretty hard to believe. Once I picked up my order, I went inside to check. Not only did I find the EXACT santitas chips I ordered (right in their spot), but a very closes substitute as well. The chicken I ordered was out, but gee, look at this substitute! I'm so glad I paid for this "convenience," only to have to go inside anyway. Maybe train your employees that 8 minutes for an entire order is not sufficient, if you're going to just give up the moment you don't see an item.

Such a nice Safeway. The produce is beautiful and fresh. Nice firm potatoes with no tool marks and evenly sized. The frozen food is kept well frozen and has not been allowed to thaw and refrozen. In comparison, my local Safeway on Woodstock is just the opposite. On Woodstock The produce is definitely a number 2 product, and frozen food is like a brick. I will travel 8 miles to get food worth the price.

Safeway is great. Wonderful produce. Only problem is that many times digital coupons will not work.

I've been here many times and have always had a perfectly fine experience. They are in a really convenient spot and have always had what I've looked for.

Stood at the deli counter for 10 minutes waiting for help. One worker behind the counter was slicing meat (I assume for a non-existent customer) didn't acknowledge me at all. Multiple workers in the back prep area. A manager even called for customer service to the meat department, and nobody came. So I left.

Why BBQ with Charcoal out front of the store to smoke out the store with Carbon monoxide. I was shopping and had to leave the store unfinished with my shopping. Why not use propane, it’s only common sense…

Ok here's the deal, I work a lot, I am tired, I am not wanting to be at the high priced Safeway however, it is the closest to my place. Frustration beyond words....I'm standing in line (intentionally) for a checker!! I do not want to move yet some self checkout employee comes in telling people to go to self checkout and she will check them out there?! Do not make us look lazy in front of all the "self checkout" customers! So damn pushy I went to self checkout and said I would bag my own. The price did NOT come down fir me to bag my own, and if I were not so tired I would have been in self checkout anyway!! Moral to this true story...
.quit bugging people in the checker line....you do not know our story and you made people feel stupid!

Extremely nice Floral manager, she was so willing and she helped my get the perfect group of flowers, she needs a raise to some were like $30 I know she does not get paid that much for all her work, i may not know how much she gets pays but she need $30 an hour.
