“I am so impressed with this company, and they will now be the only paint store I shop at! They are paint experts and provide excellent customer service!Here’s my story:I’m been looking at exterior paints for several months now, driving around neighborhoods locally as well as when I’m traveling. I just can’t find the right color (blue grey). I’ve visited several paint shops across multiple brands, asking the staff for their help with no success. My painter suggested going to Powell Paints. I went to the Clackamas store and met Tom. My first impression was, “Wow! I’m finally talking to someone that genuinely understands paints and cares about .helping me!” He gave me a few options to look at, then also suggested I come back and talk with Gina, the color expert. Gina is a color scientist, and I am in awe in her knowledge and expertise! She understood what I was looking for and came up with a recommendation. I took a quart of paint home, painted my garage door, then looked at it for a few days. It was close, but not exactly what I wanted. When I went back, they genuinely wanted to make certain I found my ideal color. Gina, Tom and I worked together to get the color even better than what I visioned. I am so happy!”

I brought the door to Beaumont Hardware and two employees tag teamed it for a good 45 minutes, working on it until they had succeeded. They charged me nothing for the wonderful help I received. We worked with Neil and Drew to help us bring our painting vision to life inside our new home, and everything, from supplies to color choices, was just perfect. The service you receive at this store is fantastic, the advice is sound, and the overall experience is great. The quality of primers and paints is luxuriously top notch. We were taking out some very dark, saturated accent walls, and the recommended tinted primer/paints combo was perfect for the job. A navy bedroom to peachy pink, no problem! Forest green wall to creamy white, no problem. Primer and two coats of Regal paint. wow! Benjamin Moore products cannot be beat. The paint is so thick it does not drip! It is amazing. We will be back for more supplies to paint the remainder of our house interior. And I will drive out to Lake Oswego from Camas, WA because the people at this Dick's Color Center is just the best. “Stopped in late Friday (12/4/20) to just get some questions answered. I'm new to this and trying to my head wrapped around the process and anticipated costs. Cody was at the front and was ready to answer my questions. He went through the different flooring types available and even went over the pros/cons of each type. He also discussed other pitfalls that homeowner's can get into when not properly informed. Cody went as far as to generate a super quick quote, based on estimate of square footage, labor, etc. He also discussed installation lead times and what was/wasn't covered by the installers. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I'll be back to start and finish my project with Sherwin-Williams. Thanks!”

“Good store and friendly group of people who work there.Stopped in a few months ago to pick up a can of paint to match our existing trim. They were very helpful in figuring out the right finish based on pictures I brought. The color was slightly off but that was partially due to my little paint match sensor and the fact that we seem to have 3-4 different shades of white throughout the house.
