Hello everyone, it has taken me a minute to get this review done of my experience with Gladstone Mitsubishi, so here it is.
In August I went through something that reorganized my world, but I won’t go into that. I contacted Gladstone and stated that I needed a vehicle, so I made a appointment and drove up there from Salem, I met with a very nice young man named Paysen Manning, I told him what I was used to driving and that I needed something similar, and that my favorite color was blue, he said ‘ I will be right back, I think I know just the vehicle for you’. This young man came around the corner with an adorable blue with a black strip down the middle Jeep Cherokee Trail Blazer, I giggled, and took my new vehicle home that day. Long story short, Paysen listened to what it was that I wanted and I have been happy with my decision since, it’s been almost 30 days with my adorable ‘Blue Bell’ ( it’s a Jeep thing) anyway, if you are looking for a car/truck come see this young man at Gladstone Mitsubishi, tell him your needs and he will do his best to make you happy. Again his name is Paysen Manning and he is a delight to work with.

We were working with a rude a$$ guy named Brandon who actually had us giving up on our deal and about to go somewhere else when I called on Sunday to ask one last question and happen to get Christian Roberts on the phone and turned the whole experience around for us. He is absolutely amazing he has our business for life. THIS IS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ALL ABOUT.

I give 4 star to the sales rep who worked with me, and a zero star to the business.
Car dealerships are notorious for misleading pricing online, then to come in and have more add ons that are “non negotiable” added to the bill.
We all need to make a profit. However, upfront pricing is what customers desire and deserve.
These car dealerships will slowly lose business to the businesses who make it TRULY upfront and easy and eventually all online.
I didn’t want and/or need the security device that was installed and was non negotiable on the final paperwork. They let me know that it could not be removed. It was not listed on the final price before the paperwork.
We will not return to do business here. And would advise other buyers to do your due diligence on final pricing.

Bought a 2002 Jeep Wagoner on 9/24/2023
Went to this dealership because I wanted a Wagoner and they had the one I was looking for. It had 9,621 miles on it and was priced reasonably.
While working with the salesman one of his selling points was that it had low miles and was still under manufacture warranty. This made me choose to buy the vehicle.
Once I sat down with the finance manager I decided to purchase an extended warranty which will cover the vehicle to 81K miles. The finance manager stated “This will cover your vehicle after the manufactures warranty has expired.”
Almost a year to date the vehicle started leaking oil severely.
When taken to the Jeep dealership for repair I was informed because the vehicle was from Canada, the manufactures warranty was not valid in the US.
When I called the dealership I was told that the fact the vehicle was from Canada was disclosed on the Car Fax.
Case in point: It is NOT common knowledge that a vehicle from Canada is not warranted in the US. They obviously took advantage of my ignorance and lied to mislead me and my 30k down payment all the way to the bank.
When I called the deanship I was really hoping to hear an apology and something along the lines of the salesman didn’t know the car was from Canada and made the assumption it was still under manufacture’s warranty. At which point all would have been forgiven and understood, but not how the conversation went at all.
It is my mistake for believing and trusting them at their word.

Bought a Mitsubishi Mirage for our daughter at this dealership and fully satisfied with excellent experience. The salesperson Brandon in particular was outstanding and i would strongly recommend this dealership to anyone interested in buying a Mitsubishi or any of the other makes of cars on their lot. Bought a truck. I must say CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TOP NOTCH!! They stayed late and worked a great deal with us. They made it happen!! We drove from Washington & glad we made the trip. Danny, Christian, Christian, & Carlos ARE AMAZING & DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! Lobby had great amenities. They offered coffee & water. Lobby is air conditioned & has a mini store. The truck is clean. The best detailed I’ve seen since we’ve travelled so many dealerships. They definitely care about their vehicles & customers!!

I went to this dealership because I saw a few cars I wanted online. I was greeted by a kid who looks like he's just out of high school with an overwhelming approach that almost made me leave right there. I mean talk about overboard (I later saw him driving another customer down the road on a golf cart and that man looked terrified). Then I went inside and told him and another man what I wanted. They immediately tried to sell me something $10k above what I told them my budget was, then even higher. They literally tried to talk me into financing that I could not afford. Between the two of them, they offered me the SAME VEHICLE FIVE TIMES!!! Talk about tone deaf! They were horrible listeners, like kids running a candy factory except all the candy is the Circus Peanuts and Candy Corn of the world (disgusting). When there were no women in the room, I heard them as they looked through a window and ogled a young lady, complete with comments about her gender and some other unsavory things, as she walked into the building. They didn't know I was listening. I think she may have been an employee, actually. What's worse is that none of them looked me in the eye for more than a few seconds. They were mostly looking at computer screens, yelling across desks at each other, and communicating extremely poorly with me and with each other, not listening to a thing I was saying, performing some kind of third-rate circus act, or at least that's how it felt.
I'm an old man now. I may look it. They may have tried to take advantage of that. They ultimately lost my business. There were three cars I would have bought, but their utter lack of professionalism and refinement and respect turned me away. That's another thing...What kind of sales people wear baggy shorts and dirty shirts? At first I thought that youngster was a mechanic by his appearance, which I respect completely as I am a mechanic in another industry (was). I get that they might be trying to appeal to a more casual, hip crowd, but I don't expect my sales people to look like they're dressed for a basketball game that they just finished - all sweaty and stained. If that's what's in, then this is NOT the place for me, and maybe not for you. Nobody seemed to know anything.
I also have a friend who went there to test drive a vehicle, having made the agreement to do so beforehand. When they got there, the vehicle was unavailable. He took off a whole day of work - unpaid - to drive this vehicle, yet without any call or text or warning, that was suddenly not possible. That's all I know about his story, but that makes 0 for 2 for us.

I have never had such a pleasant experience buying a car. We worked with Carlos and he found us exactly what we were looking for at just below the budget we had set. He didn't rush or pressure us. In fact it ended up being like a month between when we first contacted him about a van they had online til he found us our van. He didn't pester us with every car he came across like other people did. He didn't contact us again until he found the perfect one! When we came in to look at it he had it pulled up and ready. He was available for questions but also let us have time to look and talk without pressure. On top of that it wasn't a new car that we bought so when i I contacted him about a question and he had me bring it in right away was impressive. He met me with the same enthusiasm as he had before we bought the car. All I'm saying is I hope I never have to buy a car from anyone other than Carlos ever again! Thank you, we love our van and are so appreciative of your help, we were burnt out on car salesmen, and you were a breath of fresh air!

A satisfying experience. It was pleasant and seamless and advisors are professional - which is always appreciated. Joey is great and I appreciate his calm demeanor. The other advisor that helped me when Joey was helping another client was willing to help and a pleasure to work with. I wish I remembered his name. I appreciate they found a way, as a team, to ensure I was helped without delay.
