Beware of EMT Motors. If you do your research you have been Warned. These people sell junk vehicles. They fix them up just enough to get you off the lot and everything falls apart and they WILL NOT work with you and in fact they become rude. Go anywhere else and stay clear of this lot at all cost.

Cory is a kind and straightforward salesman who is very personable. Came to see about selling a vehicle and had a great conversation we then went off topic about vehicles and on the note of vehicles gave Outside recommendations to get a fair price for the vehicle outside of them.
As far as vehicles go, they had a wide array and some pretty nice options.
As with any review thread, Take everything you see and hear, "with a grain of salt and a smile",
I had personally had a great, brief, experience.
I read one review on here where a young lady had a poor experience with her first car purchase. My first dealer purchase was a poor experience as well, but make sure you take your vehicles to your preferred mechanic BEFORE you purchase. It's worth the effort and money ahead of time. And also, you don't need to ask for their "Reciepts", reciepts are for customers records for tax purposes, thats to see how much they paid on repairs.. you just needed a maintenance report. Also I'm sure if you ask they can try to get you copies of the right papers, also if they offered you a carfax they did provide it.
Overall to anyone looking for Any Vehicle Anywhere, Just make sure you Do Your Research Before Purchasing Any Vehicle or you'll have a bad experience Anywhere. So far, YES, I Would Recommend EMT Motors. Just take to autozone do a battery, alternator and starter check, & a code read at minimum..
Anywhere you go, if you're about to purchase a car,
Pay For Your Mechanic Inspection Before You Buy.
I would say Go Check Out EMT Motors.

Came here to share our experience. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. My family came here to get a car for me to use after mine was totaled in a car accident. First, when attempting to get gas the first time, the car would not start after getting gas. We had to replace a fuel part. Then the car completely broke down and stopped working. The car would grind hault. This was within the first couple of weeks of having it. We had to get a transfer case and a tow to the mechanic. $2,000 spent on that. I just got it back from the mechanic and the car completely shut down today. The time belt is broken and the motor is likely trashed. This will be another $2,000.DO NOT COME HERE. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE AND NEVER BUY A CAR FROM EMT MOTORS

We had a good experience buying a 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan at EMT. We got a good price and Cory, our sales-person, went the extra mile a couple of times to ensure our satisfaction with the car and the transaction. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.

We had an exceptional experience for a used car dealership. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

Most expensive lemons sold here! Drove the car about 509 miles before it died on the side of the road before christmas vacation. 2 days after I bought it, the check engine light came on. the dealer refused to take a look at the car or help because they “lowered the price 1k” Also my car “passed” DEQ before they sold to me however after a quick scan (2 days after i purchased the vehicle) it said it would not pass emissions. I’ll let y’all put 2 and 2 together on how that is possible.

Sorry, I was interested in a car on the lot. Called for info several times, no answer at times they were supposed to be open, and no response to messages. I finally decided to apply financing and after 3 days with no response I called. The gentleman who answered the phone said it was being processed and taking a little longer because I had several types of income to verify. That was a week ago. I can only guess he is independently wealthy and does not need to actually sell the cars on his lot. Yup don't waste your time!

I want to share my experience with EMT MOTORS, LLC (1428 SE McLoughlin Blvd., Portland, OR) and their representative “Cory.” They sold me a car, and while they had talked to us about various repairs and maintenance that were done to the vehicle, they would give us a copy of the receipts. Copies were not provided, which should have been enough of a red flag, but we were genuinely STUPID and believed him. Two days after the car was bought, it started to have problems that were not present during a test drive – all kinds of different warning lights and issues with the brakes. My father took the car to a reputable dealer and paid $450 for a full inspection and diagnosis. We were shocked when I was given a detailed report that totaled $5,800 and four pages of things that needed to be done. We know the mechanic who did the inspection is top-notch, as a close friend has been going to him for more than 30 years. When we contacted the dealer, first, they did not respond to our email, and when I called them, it was pretty much what was expected – they refused to do anything at all except refer us to “their mechanic.” They knew the vehicle had serious flaws and sold it anyway, TAKING ADVANTAGE of a YOUNG WOMAN who was excited to purchase my FIRST CAR! They KNEW what they were doing and DID IT ANYWAY—they lived up to the reputation of the worst used car dealers possible. Now, I am left with the choice of selling the car and taking a big loss of all my savings or dumping another ton of money into it. I want to warn everyone about them and encourage them to seriously AVOID EMT MOTORS, LLC, AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WISH TO BE RIPPED OFF.

I don't usually write bad reviews but I will warn whomever reads this to not put themselves through the bad stuff that will most likely happen if you do business with them. Just don't do it to yourself. It's not worth it.

Do not buy a car from here they are very unprofessional and their communication is terrible I got a car from them 2 months ago and haven’t received the proper registration information for the car I keep calling to see what’s going on but either they don’t answer or give me the run around
