Sorry, I was interested in a car on the lot. Called for info several times, no answer at times they were supposed to be open, and no response to messages. I finally decided to apply financing and after 3 days with no response I called. The gentleman who answered the phone said it was being processed and taking a little longer because I had several types of income to verify. That was a week ago. I can only guess he is independently wealthy and does not need to actually sell the cars on his lot. Yup don't waste your time!

I want to share my experience with EMT MOTORS, LLC (1428 SE McLoughlin Blvd., Portland, OR) and their representative "Cory." They sold me a car, and while they had talked to us about various repairs and maintenance that were done to the vehicle, they would give us a copy of the receipts. Copies were not provided, which should have been enough of a red flag, but we were genuinely STUPID and believed him. Two days after the car was bought, it started to have problems that were not present during a test drive - all kinds of different warning lights and issues with the brakes. My father took the car to a reputable dealer and paid $450 for a full inspection and diagnosis. We were shocked when I was given a detailed report that totaled $5,800 and four pages of things that needed to be done. We know the mechanic who did the inspection is top-notch, as a close friend has been going to him for more than 30 years. When we contacted the dealer, first, they did not respond to our email, and when I called them, it was pretty much what was expected - they refused to do anything at all except refer us to "their mechanic." They knew the vehicle had serious flaws and sold it anyway, TAKING ADVANTAGE of a YOUNG WOMAN who was excited to purchase my FIRST CAR! They KNEW what they were doing and DID IT ANYWAY--they lived up to the reputation of the worst used car dealers possible. Now, I am left with the choice of selling the car and taking a big loss of all my savings or dumping another ton of money into it. I want to warn everyone about them and encourage them to seriously AVOID EMT MOTORS, LLC, AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WISH TO BE RIPPED OFF.

Spoke to the owner Caesar Fri AM about a used diesel Excursion. I had a few questions and Caesar said he would get back to me that afternoon [Fri]. Guess what its now Sat EOD and no response - so think of this as Mon AM and 4 days without any response. I wonder why - is the vehicle that bad that they are hiding things? THis is B/S when even the owner doesn't respond! Go somewhere else!

DON'T BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! I bought a 2000 Toyota Corolla for $5000. The vehicle had only one owner before me and Corey told me it was a good running car with no issues. As soon as I brought it home check engine light. Thing was losing A whole quart of oil a week. Valve cover gasket was bad, EMT only absorbed half of the cost of the repair. Picked it up and the oil light came on. Brought it back they changed the oil filter. Picked it up AGAIN, oil light again. Drove it back dude said the corollas engine is bad. The owner Ceasar refused to give me his number or help me in any way. Sold me a car that burned oil with a bad engine and lied to my face. Don't trust these people.

I cannot recommend EMT Motors enough!!! Great experience. I was in need of a vehicle that could seat 7. I found EMT through an online search, they were 3.5 hours south of my place in Seattle. It's a bit of a drive but the car they had in the lot has all the options I wanted. So i called them, we went over my trade on the phone, I sent in all the pics Corey requested and the Vin, he offered me a few hundred more than the local car lots AND the vehicle I wanted was already under what KBB says the car was was worth. So, with all that I left work early to make the drive. After I arrived, I was expecting then to lower the trade in amount they quoted, but they didn't!!! Not only that, but as I walked in before i talked to Corey, there was another buyer looking at "my" car, Corey told him that the car was already sold. The deal went through without a hitch, no issues came up, and everything they said they would do THEY DID! And, talk about integrity!, I left a $2800 money order in my trade in, Corey paid to ship it back to me OVERNIGHT. NO QUESTIONS. I may be 3.5 hours away, but EMT Motors is my new go to for any car purchase, and ill recommend them to everybody that asks for a reputable and honest dealing car lot.

Bought a vehicle from them a few months ago. Found out that it had a transmission leak a couple weeks after owning it. Now after months of refilling trans fluid and babying, it is in the shop for a transmission replacement which is probably going to cost more than the vehicle is worth.

Just picked up the Vehicle I purchased sight unseen from Cory Baker. Cory is the most Trustworthy Salesman I have ever dealt with. I live in Seaside and when I arrive My Car was ready to go. No hassles or last minute hidden charges. My drive home was great. Mercedes drove like new even though it had over 100,000 miles. I would not hesitate to recommend Cory to anyone looking for a great deal and an honest, aboveboard Dealership. I even took a handful of Cory's Business Cards to give to my friends. Best Service ever!! Thank You Cory, Mike.

My car bit the dust and I knew it was time to get another used ride. I went online to find something I really would enjoy driving = a mini van originally was not my first choice. Due to COVID the options are very limited so after a lot of advice from friends I found a vehicle to investigate. We (the wife and I) landed at EMT Motors in Oak Grove and I was behind the wheel of a Dodge Caravan for a test drive. It wasn't love at first sight and the price was a bit steep at 2995 for a 2005 with over 175k miles. Wifey convinced me to go for it and we stepped into the long and arduous process of buying a used car. The salesman didn't wear a mask and didn't require us to either. That was a bit dicey. During the entire transaction, the owner and his wife entered and exited the building also without masks so I'm not sure how that works in today's society. Back to our transaction - we eventually were able to whittle the price down to 2300 partially cash and the rest on debit cards. They did ask $450 for DMV processes but I saved money taking care of it myself. All in all it was a good experience but that salesman talked too much. It would have been less of a headache if he'd just stuck to the job and spent less time telling us ridiculously long stories that had nothing to do with buying a vehicle. Finally, after we had the title and keys in hand, he hands me a 1000 grit sandpaper and tells me how to "fix" the paint which I've yet to tackle. The interior of the van smelled like wet dog and odorous socks which I've still been dealing with for three months now; the van drives well and is slowly being repaired by a reliant mechanic friend of mine. If you visit, make it clear you want to set a time limit. Keep the chatter to a minimum and haggle. You might get the car you want at a fair price. But never turn down a test drive and take someone who knows cars before you buy. Lastly if it seems to good to be true, it probably is - be assertive. This is YOUR hard cash after all; don't let anyone talk you into something you don't feel comfortable driving. Good luck!

My last car died on me and I had to get a new car in hurry. Saw a lot of used cars in good condition on their site. When I went in they were helpful and friendly. Also let me test drive numerous cars. Even helped point me towards a minivan that was in great condition and would work perfect for me and my two boys. I am a single father and this van had stow and go, which has been very useful. They helped be get a loan and insurance setup. They made my experience getting a used vehicle good. Would recommend them if you are looking for a used.

We were looking for a service vehicle for our field appliance technician. Corey at EMT was very helpful and went the extra mile to ensure we had a van that would suit our needs. They even corrected some initial issues we were having with the "check engine" light. Now we are in a ride for a reasonable price. We'll be back for more!

Went to EMT motors to test drive a 2003 yukon Denali black on black that was selling for $4750.00 Vin# 1GKEK63UX3J259440. Back door doesn't open, Ac heater in the back doesn't work, brakes kicks back when applying the brakes and Check engine light came on while test driving. We tried to negotiate but even at $4300.00 And getting that problem fixed with check engine light , still he wouldn't budge. Went on Craigslist the next day to check the vehicle status and now the price of that Black Denali is $6999.00. SMH

i drove down all the way down from seattle to buy a 06-08 dodge charger pursuit . When we got there the sales man seemed fine at first then he started to "assure" me that they wouldnt rip me off and they have great reviews so he wouldnt do that. He also told me they own a dispensery and that they can only deposit 15,000 a month, so thats why they sell cars. so me and my buddy who is a mechanic took the car for spin and we noticed right away that the transmission was slipping and the front tie rod needed to be replaced also (noticed after test drive and inspection ) . we started talking to the salesman about Dodges and my love of mopar( i was driving i 2017 jeep grand cherokee) so he asked if we wanted to see the"baddest dodge ever made", he pulled up the door to the garage and showed us a dodge demon under a cover that they were selling for 160k, and assured me again that they "weren't trying to rip me off". He was trying WAY too hard to try and impress me. I would NEVER suggest this bogus shop to ANYONE unless they want to get ripped off. I would give it 0 stars if it was possible.
