Absolutely THE WORST customer service! Came to see 2 Teslas they had. The older guy showed us the cars . Both were not in the best shape: panels falling off inside, dents on the car. Which we could have taken care of, but when we asked for a test drive his words were: “no, you are not going! These cars haven been on the lot for months! They are garbage! Nobody is taking care of them!” And then he walked away. Like what? I’m honestly still in a shock!

Didn't end up purchasing a car, but both employees we talked to were professional and friendly. They didn't push us and that's always pleasant.

Visited to look at a Tesla Model 3, but the sales guy couldn't hear a word that I spoke and they wouldn't replace a giant bulge on the passenger front tire. He never asked me one question, and didn't offer to let me take a test drive.

Buyer beware. We highly do not recommend working with volkswagon. We traded our paid off leased vehicle into another dealership and now volkswagon is holding our title hostage. It has been 6 months.

My complaint… it took a little longer than expected (they were busy). I say that completely in jest because there really wasn’t a bad part of the experience. We worked with Dan B. and we couldn’t have been treated better. His openness and honesty was refreshingly “old school” and in NO WAY pitchy. He gave us our space but was willing to provide answers to all our questions. He made sure we understood the purchase price and at the end it felt like everyone involved won. There was a slight amount of push to try and add things once we got to “the close” but even that wasn’t a hard push. We are extremely pleased and loving our new (used) Atlas. If you would rather buy from people instead of a “sales system,” I can’t recommend Dan Burke enough at Armstrong Volkswagen (used vehicles).

I came here looking for a Chevy Bolt EV and left with astonishment. The only positive experience I had here was with Silvana, the salesperson. During our ride I noticed a problem that was overlooked by the pre inspection, and once I had expressed interest with moving forward in my purchase, I got a slap in the face with the pricing. 10K in dealer add ons. I honestly laughed when I heard the sales manager Kyle reading off the sheet. While these were optional, it felt incredibly sleezy and I feel bad for anyone who would be taken advantage of like that. 900 dollars for GAP insurance on a car that's already depreciated substantially? My credit union offers it for 499, and most dealers go up to about 6-700.During negotiating pricing, I made an offer which was strong, but not ridiculous. After some back and forth I decided to pass on his offer. Making sure to thank him for his time, Kyle ignored me and stormed out of the office in a huff.Overall, I would usually write this off as being toward the end of the day and the sales manager being tired, but with the sleezeball mark ups and my absolute refusal to entertain the markups I can't help but feel like it was intentional.

BUYER BEWARE! I cannot in good conscience reccomend anybody buy a vehicle from Armstrong VW in Gladstone, OR. I went into the dealer for an appointment to buy a car. I test drove a few cars before finally deciding. Sammy, the salesman assured me multiple times that Armstrong VW does not sell junk and stands behind what they sell. I bought a 2019 Jetta there on 11/17 with about 82,200 miles. On 11/27 at about 82,400 miles the check engine light came on. I immediately took a picture of the light and milage and sent it to the salesman I worked with, Sammy. I also notified him that I had noticed a water leak into the trunk area. He spoke with the manager and told me to make an appointment. I couldn't get an appointment until Dec 1. I show up for the appointment and was immediately quoted something like $700 just to diagnose these issues. After some back and forth with the service writer Chris, I spoke with the used car manager James Anderson directly. I explained I was upset that I hadn't even made it 200 miles and already have some problems that I'm expected to pay for. He used a lot of words to explain why these things can slip through the cracks when inspecting, which I said sure I understand that. He also said that he would be mad as a customer with this experience. However, ultimately he was not willing to budge. Clearly Armstrong VW DOES NOT stand behind the vehicles they sell. I am a decorated mechanic (Mercedes Master tech, Porsche, to name a few brands I worked for) that can no longer work due to a back injury I sustained at work. I highly suspect that the check engine light was cleared prior to me buying the car just so the repair would land in the buyers lap instead of the dealer. This is the first and LAST time I do business with them.

I'd not give any stars if I could. Walked in and didn't get greeted not even an acknowledgment that I was in there. Walked out and walked the lot found 2-3 SUV's I was interested in. Walked back into the building and still no greeting waited a little bit but nothing. So I walked out.
