It's fine. I was looking for Hydraulic Oil. I found one bottle, but it was much too big.
Everything is expensive.
$20 will buy a quart of oil & a candy bar.
$20 will buy you one pound of 8" deck screws & a king sized candy bar.
$20 will buy 20' of 12 awg stranded wire, no candy bar.
I can't afford anything.

I am absolutely fuming from the amazingly lackluster customer service that I received at Ace. I went in on 5/27 to purchase a grill and have it assembled and delivered by Ace. I worked with Dan to place the order, gave them my $450 for the grill, gave them all of my contact info and was assured that it would be on the truck and delivered to the store the following week and that I’d receive a call from them to schedule the home delivery. Guess what? It never got on the truck! So, I call them on 6/10 and am told that not only did they not have the grill but that it would for sure be delivered to them the next day on 6/11 since it didn’t make it the week before. Guess what? It didn’t make it on the truck for the second time! So, again I call them to see where it’s at and they tell me they don’t even have a record of the purchase when I am literally looking at my physical receipt! So not only did they not do what they were supposed to do and get it ordered for me in the first place but they went ahead and lied to me about as well. So, I marched into the store to get my refund and was told by the supervisor, who also happened to be Dan, that I’d be refunded for a grill that “they didn’t have.” Umm what?!?! Was I charged for a grill that didn’t exist? Did they oversell it and just figure that they’d take my money anyway and hope I’d forget about it? Or, was it Dan’s cop out for not admitting that he dropped the ball and didn’t get the grill ordered for me in the first place and didn’t care enough to let me know? And to top it off nobody, not one single person even apologized to me for this entire mess. Nobody tried to salvage the sale and right the wrong in any way. I tried to do my due diligence and support a neighborhood store and foolishly thought I’d get better and more professional service. Wrong! I’ll be buying the same grill from Amazon, it will be delivered tomorrow and $50 cheaper. Don’t support this business.

A true hardware store! I was absolutely blown away by their selection of bolts, nuts, screws, washers, and even electrical hardware like switches and connectors. 6 stars for the hardware selection alone, but -1 star because they are often understaffed, and short on stock in other departments e.g. lawn and garden.

As rude as these people have been over the last 5 years l had all but quit going , they had a deceiving add that got me to come back in. It was a Trager shelf but the picture was of a grill. Cool I knew it could not be right but I had to see. I needed a key made anyways so I roll in get my key made and I asked about it. He proceeded to laugh at me and tell me that grill are expensive! Ya'll had the deceiving add. So feeling adequately embarrassed I went to leave. My lady friend asked me if I had gotten helped which he over hears and proceeded tell my friend how stupid I was for believing there add. Getting help here is always a nightmare! There employee morale is terrible! They either hate there life or the there job one, but either way they take it out on there customers. Neighborhood store should not be there slogan. This is the first time I have ever written a bad review for any business. I am just tired of this treatment. The part he didn't know is I just got my tax return. A I am really looking for a new grill. Had he of taking time to be a salesman he would of found out I could afford the whole grill and not just the shelf. I hope just one person reads this and is available to avoid the same treatment, then it will be worth the time I have taken to write this.

"Ace Is The Place" where i went to find the part for a toilet tank replacement. I had a great shopping experience finding just exactly the needed part and grabbing up items for my other ongoing projects.
