The service was good but they charged waaaay more for the parts than what I could have got them for at the auto parts! Very frustrating when they pad the parts instead charging you what they actually cost.

Had nothing but problems they where supposed to troubleshoot our transmission codes, never happened besides being told waiting on sensors and then they had all the parts then the next day they were waiting on another sensor then another day goes by and one sensor was wrong my pickup was there a week I called every day and got another excuse....nothing got fixed it ran fine when I took it in there now it won't even shift out of first.... I can't even drive it now... So I let another mechanic look at it and he figured out the problem in 15 mins. You have to actually test drive it down the road not just from parking lot to garage..... And then I call to complain that it runs worse then when I took it in there so they tell me to bring it back right away so I do so a mechanic comes out and tells me well they had me working on it, so there is another red flag.... told me they were working on it then they weren't working on it took a week they didn't touch it..... Just the worst service ever I don't recommend them at all kept getting put to the back burner even when it was there for a week.... They should keep there facts straight if they couldn't figure out the problem they should have just told us straight up not give us a big run around why lie to us ....now I have a bigger problem then when I took it in there...... I would not recommend them at all worst experience ever do not recommend .....

Ok well I'm asked for my experience with R and J Auto...the worst experience of my life dealing with a business. I made an appointment for Wednesday, took the car in for an estimate, called the next day, nothing had been done..techs out with Covid so I understood. The next day I was told it still wasn't looked at and I'd get a call from Rod the next day...no call received. I'd call every few days and NO WORK had been done on it for 2 weeks! Then I finally call and get a diagnosis of a bad power steering pump and valve cover gaskets needed to be replaced. I approved for the work to get done and Rod told me on a Wednesday that it should be ready on that coming Friday or Monday cause he had all the parts. It was all good til I called on the following Tuesday and NOTHING WAS DONE! I got upset and told Rod that he was not very professional by saying he'd call me back and doesn't then lied about having parts and when I should have it back. Not good business! Rod calls me on Thursday after I expressed myself and told me he NEVER DID A THING TO MY VEHICLE AND TO COME PICK IT UP! AFTER OVER 3 WEEKS OF HAVING MY CAR AND THEY WILL NEVER HAVE MY BUSINESS AGAIN OR EVEN A GOOD WORD COME OUTTA MY MOUTH FOR ************ IN *******, ******!

I love how wonderfully kind and knowledgeable everyone was.I had a non working car for 2 weeks. I called r&j auto, two fellas fixed my problem in less than 5 minutes and sent me in my way.They will be my forever mechanic.
