Card readers never work, gas is overpriced, employees don’t seem to understand what “self service” means.

Hard-working staff, multiple fuel options and easy on/off the main road in Merlin, Oregon. Thanks Shell station people!

Everyone I’ve encountered who works here has been very helpful and a very attentive, and seem to be very hard working. My Mom and I fill our propane up about every two months here. My Mom is elderly and I have a heart condition so we have a neighbor load and unload our canisters in and out of our vehicle. When we get to the filling station every attendant we’ve ever been helped by has acknowledged us right a way and let us know if it’ll be a wait. The longest we’ve ever waited was the start of river run season and even with all the gas pumps filled we were helped within 3 or 4 minutes. We’ve never had to exit our vehicle. Everyone has always been 100% professional, friendly and quick. If your local, you know, this place is great.

If I could give negative stars I would. I have an injured shoulder and my power went down. I finally got my empty propane tanks in the back of my SUV and drove down. I needed the propane for my generator (this was in January 2022). I backed up next to the propane area and opened the hatch. The attendant told me to get my tanks out, I explained my shoulder was injured and I asked if I could get help. The attendant refused, and then refused to fill my tanks as they said I obviously wouldn’t be able to lift them full. The attendant then bragged about being friends with the manager “Leah” and that I was 86’d. I drove to the closest town crying (about 10-12 miles) and a nice young man unloaded, filled my propane tanks, and loaded them with a smile :). On my way home my cell phone rang, it was a deputy. “Leah” called and had me “officially” trespassed from the little local gas station. The deputy said he was sorry, and that if I needed more propane to call the non-emergency and they would help me get some. I can’t believe how low they treat the disabled there (I’m disabled from a car accident also). Karma will come around for them.????? Update, they have manager & assistant manager, they are awesome and invited me back. Then The manager @ the store yelled @ me because of the gas station manager change. She was so embarrassing. Ten + employees watched & 10+ people were watching. How embarrassing for the owner of Lil Pantry. I’ve heard of more and more locals driving to Sam’s Market or just driving on by.

I am disabled and went there to get my propane tank filled. The woman that works there refused to either fill it in the back of my SUV or help unload it. She then refused to serve me since I couldn't unload it, as she wasn't going to load it. Way to go being helpful to your disabled!!!!! I'd hate to see elderly go in there and receive the same treatment! If I could give negative stars I would!
