Been trying to contact the bank in different ways, phone call, texts, and messaging. Nobody answers, or cares. Waited on the phone again today, after a couple hours of waiting, my phone heated up and I had to hang up before anyone answered. They must be severely understaffed. I feel for the workers…

Very short staffed at inside counter . Long wait. Once you get waited on, the tellers are very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, some of the services are not completed as promised

Went thru the drive thru for two simple deposits and to make a payment. Stephanie was the teller on duty, and told me the next time i need to come inside to make these deposits/payments because she has to walk inside. There was no line, no other customers, and none came after me the entire time. Will go to another branch in the future.

Just a hard bank to do business with, waits are generally long, and I've stopped using some branches entirely because of people sleeping in front of the entrance. The tellers are generally nice but overall not nice enough to offset the cumbersome online banking and awkward in-person experience.

Just had a wonderful experience with Melissa she helped me navigate my phone over the phone to apply for a Umpqua Credit card. In just a few minutes Melissa had me approved for my card. Awesome customer service. Professional. Polite. Thank you.

This is the first negative review I have ever written. I will never recommend doing business with this bank! Ever! Today I was denied access to my bank account because I couldn't remember one of the security questions which was "what month and year did you open the account". I knew what year it was but couldn't remember the month so while I was waiting to speak to a manager, I found out when I opened the account and provided it to the manager when she answered but was told since I wasn't able to immediately answer the question to the associate I was originally speaking to on the same call that I would have to go in to a branch or register for online banking. I tried registering for online banking and it said "unauthorized to access this resource". A bank in this country CANNOT deny an owner of a bank account access but illegally did so today to me.

Worst customer experience ever. My CD was mature but due to covid it slipped my mind. On day 11 out of the 10 days they give you they took 200$ out of my CD for "holding onto my money " instead of doing the right thing when everyone is out of work and no income coming in they should have waved the fee. But no one cared so here I am leaving you a bad review. You could have rolled it into my checking account or my savings. Instead I closed all my accounts and still no one from corporate has gotten back to me.

Tami Morgan helped me today with refinancing questions. She set me on a good path and really made my decisions easier. She was professional, yet concerned about me and my issues. She listened instead of just nodding, and I would trust her implicitly to do right by me...or you. Umpqua hires good people. Tami is proof of that.

Calling and no one to talk with, give me a break!! Plenty of options, not even 1 to ask a simple question. However a recorded message of a 13 minute wait, oh by the way a supervisor, will listen to my call!! If this going to be the way, you treat me, I will have nothing to do with your bank! Your a small company, you will never grow, with your attitude!
