Great job to the young man at the welcome center today. I had to use the restroom but my membership was up so he kindly told me that since they are a state regulated Preschool too I had to have a member ship to use the bathroom. I'm impressed. That is awesome. It was around 330 pm to management. He is a keeper. Thank you for keeping our kiddos safe.

There is a new gentleman working there and it would appear that he has a son who does the same annoying behaviors. I like to do T-Bar Rows and I use the squat rack to do so, never have ever had an issue once in fifteen years of performing this exercise. Never broke a mirror, never had the back lift up, because I don’t lift reckless and I never have. I was going about my lift, and had this new worker come up to me to show me the inconvenient item I was not interested in using while lifting. At this time, I politely listened to him like I was clueless, thanked him, and went back to what I was doing. It was annoying but hey whatever. Today, two weeks later, I am performing another exercise with the bar in the corner of the squat rack, again, doing a workout I’ve done a thousand times and have had absolutely no issue with, for some reason people at this gym do a lot of watching, which is annoying. They watch, and then they give you unsolicited advice in the middle of your workout. Again, I was stopped in the middle of my workout by who seemed to be his son who wanted to reinforce the annoyance I had to deal with two weeks earlier. Not only am I just lifting weights and minding my business, but I am doing it the correct way every time. I mean, I would hope so since I am a personal trainer myself. But why would that information matter. Anyways, his son interrupts me in the middle of my lift to advise me to lift with this t bar tool that they seem to be obsessed with for some reason they really want you to try it out, it’s weird. And honestly, it’s just these two individuals. Like who walks up to someone like that to interrupt their workout to give out unsolicited advice. I don’t care what you lift or who you are, leave me alone if I am not bothering you. Remember I said I have been working out here since I was fifteen years old, I know more about the staff then either of the two of you do. I’ve been working out there since before they had golds gyms old equipment, who are you? Why are you even bothering me in the middle of my workout, I wear big headphones and I blast my music so if I want to talk to you you will know it and the staff that I truly enjoy know exactly who they are because I make it known every-time I am there, five days a week. The two of you are new here, not me. I’m not bothering you, why are the TWO of you bothering me? I never speak to either of you because I do not care for either of you in particular. I know about all that stuff you showed me, I don’t use it because I don’t like it. Leave it at that. Then, after that stupidity occurred a gentleman who is in his sixties who I have known for well over a decade came to me concerned, telling me about how a child was playing keep away with his basketball that probably cost him close to a hundred bucks, mind you, this man is also a veteran who served this country. This “child” if you want to call it that took his ball, played keep away, and then waited for him to turn around and that little worthless child tripped him and caused him injury. It is clear that the meth heads of Medford take advantage of this place and leave their poorly behaved children here for good people to deal with. The parents are trash, if you weren’t your kids would have morals and would treat our veterans with respect like my boys do. Trash parents raise trash children. After this lovely encounter, I was leaving the gym thinking this was the only time I have ever had a bad workout here, and my seven year old son tells me some kid called him a despicable name, and then asked my seven year old son if he wanted smoke. So I walked up and I asked him in a calm manner if he asked my seven year old if he wanted to smoke or if he wanted the smoke, I was more confused then anything at this point and simply asking this thirteen year old child a simple question in a calm manner with a calm voice was making him look pale, and i didn’t want that so I just asked that they don’t ask my seven year old to smoke or if he wants smoke because that is clearly inappropriate either way. Meth Mommy Kids.

Great YMCA. They run full court ball Tuesdays and Thursdays and have a decent turn out, enough where you can run 5 v 5 for a good hour at least. Tried the $9 daily pass and liked it so much I will join soon. Great place to play ball and many other options for working out! ?

Just think they could make it a little better place for the youth of southern Oregon to have something to do that's healthy and active to keep them busy therefore it shouldn't be closed early on Saturday and all day Sunday those should be the hours most open when kids are out of school and parents can go interact together Saturdayand closed on the weekend when the

It is a great facility. However, when I signed up, I left my ray and accidentally at the front desk. The young boy managing that area told me he would put them aside for me to pick up. Next time I went in, they checked lost and found but the glasses were not there. The lady mentioned she would message the team and her supervisor to see where they were placed. I was supposed to get a call back, never did. I called a few times after to talk to manager but everytime I was told to leave a message and manager would get back to me. Never did. While it was my fault I left my ray bans, I will take responsibility. But for a place to never give away or get rid of their lost and found, no one can find these sunglasses. Feeling pretty disappointed.

This ymca needs to be torn down and rebuilt its old out of date. The gym is hot in the summertime, and in the wintertime, staff isn't smart enough to close some of the vent in the gym to bounce out the temperature out but the front desk and the gym I don't like the gym hot when I'm working out

The esteemed YMCA facility, while bearing the marks of time, continues to provide an exceptional workout experience for its patrons. Undoubtedly, an updated building would serve as a transformative asset for the community. Nevertheless, the existing establishment maintains its allure, thanks in large part to the amiable and dedicated staff, as well as the diverse range of invigorating classes it offers. While the infrastructure may show its age, the YMCA remains a commendable hub for fitness enthusiasts seeking a welcoming and supportive environment. The staff members consistently demonstrate an unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, greeting visitors with warm smiles and an infectious enthusiasm that radiates throughout the facility. Their genuine friendliness creates an atmosphere that fosters a sense of camaraderie, making every workout session a memorable experience. One notable highlight of this YMCA is its impressive selection of classes. Whether one is seeking high-intensity cardio workouts, strength training sessions, or mind-body exercises, the diverse array of classes caters to a wide range of fitness preferences. The knowledgeable instructors lead these engaging sessions with expertise and contagious passion, elevating the overall experience and inspiring participants to push beyond their limits.Admittedly, the layout of the current building may present certain challenges due to its age. However, it is undeniable that a brand new facility would be a valuable investment for the community. With modern amenities and a more efficient design, a new building would enhance the overall experience for members, encouraging greater participation and facilitating the pursuit of optimal health and well-being.In conclusion, the YMCA, while in need of an updated facility, remains an exceptional destination for individuals seeking a fulfilling workout experience. The friendly and attentive staff, combined with the wide range of invigorating classes, contribute to a vibrant and inclusive community atmosphere. While the potential for a new building is evident, the current establishment continues to serve as a testament to the unwavering dedication to fitness and community that the YMCA embodies.

Don’t know why but the only place I could take my daughter to use the restroom is in the Mens Pool locker room. Where there’s grown men walking around naked. They have a safe restroom for kids but only the daycare could use it. If we are members why can’t we use it.

Went to let my kiddos swim at the pool. It was our first time there and they enjoyed it. Over all nice staff and atmosphere but zero airflow in the pool area. Immediate headache from the over powering and nauseating chlorine fumes. Need some fans or open some doors or windows for air would help improve things?
