I have been with the bank for over 10 years and when I first started with them they were really good. But the last 5 or 6 years it has taking a drastic turn. They are constantly having issues with their online banking & app, their atm works 50% of the time, they pick and choose when they want to change their hours. I would not recommend them to anyone! I feel sorry for the twin-star CU they just merged with as NW gives twin star a bad taste in anyone's mouth.

Nobody was working at the building, there was homeless people outside at least the ATM works or I would have given a lower rating

Working with Northwest has been an absolute nightmare. Hold times are consistently over an hour and if you opt for a call back, no one ever actually calls you back. After receiving conflicting information from multiple agents regarding the auto insurance requirements for my car loan, I was billed an extra $252 for lapse in coverage after multiple representatives told me I would not be charged. When I tried to pay that charge over the phone, I was told there would be more fees (fees to pay over the phone and fees to even pay online), and I was instead sent two different docusigns, authorizing a $587 ACH from my bank. I signed both, only to receive a call back later saying that they had sent me the wrong documents. I then signed the new documents (now authorizing over $600 including charges and fees when my auto loan is supposed to be $333/mo) and received confirmation from DocuSign. Today, a week later, I got an automated text saying my payment is still past due and to please pay promptly. I have called multiple times today and have still not been able to reach an agent. In total I have spent at least 5/6 hours waiting on hold trying to resolve this one issue. At one point I was even told they hadn't received documentation from Progressive, even though a call back to Progressive confirmed they had indeed sent documentation. During another interaction I was corrected when I referred to the vehicle as "my car" and the agent felt the need to interrupt me to tell me the car is still property of NWCU until the loan is paid off. If you are going to make your customers suffer through this level of disorganization and incompetence, at least have the curtesy to be polite to them in the process. Considering refinancing my car loan just so I don't have to deal with these people.

Customer service gives you the run around making simple requests 10x more difficult compared to other credit unions, and their website is a nightmare to navigate. They nickel and dime you like a standard bank with fees not to mention redundant, irrelevant policies. I will never recommend them.

I have been banking here since I was a kid and my parents opened me a savings account in the late 70s early 80s This is the only place I would ever do business with. Never an issue and always friendly and helpful staff.

Avoid this place. I deposited cash and they disappeared my money (hundreds of dollars). The receipt doesn’t even state the amount on it. Now I have nothing to pay my bills. Never had this happen anywhere before. Having to do a dispute form through my credit union and wait to get my money somehow.*edit in response to their response:No, I didn’t miss it, the amount is not on the receipt. And I already called your location, and no, they were not helpful in resolving it. They said I have to resolve it through my credit union, but I called them and your institution never posted the deposit.

YOU KNOW WHAT I JUST READ ALL THESE REVIEWS AND THEY ARE HORRIBLE, BUT ALSO OLD. I SPOKE WITH A YOUNG LADY(AMANDA) TODAY 2/8/23. VERY PLEASENT AND WAS ONLY ON HOLD FOR 4-5 MINUTES. ID SAY THATS PRETTY GOOD IN MY BOOK.

I wish there was a Negative star rating because that is what this bank is. Double, triple, quadruple NEGATIVE STAR is what I rate this credit union. Which I thought credit unions were suppose to be personable, great customer service relations, trustworthy and helpful. But Not this Credit Union. This bank has really gone down hill.

By far the worse bank I've gone through. I have an auto loan through them and they offered me a credit card which I was reluctant but said yes to. They messed up my address and instead of sending my card to the Medford branch sent it all the way back to Eugene after telling me on the phone I could pick up from Medford. Then I found out you can't even call this local branch without knowing a specific person's extension at that bank the deflect my call to eugene. So I go into my local branch where I should be able to receive help but get snobby confused ladies they finally Change my address after 20 min and then end up cancelling the credit card all together due to the lack of professionalism and progress and the fact that I got 0 help from my local branch. i tried contacting nwcu for 4 weeks. On top of it the bank wouldn't accept my auto insurance over the counter but requested I emailed it to her to make it easier. But my insurance company also tried getting a hold of them for weeks to inform them of my auto policy. If I could put 0 stars I definitely would. The lack of communication the long wait times the staff all combined created a genuine uncomfortable experience with northwest overall there are many other banks to go through if you are thinking of them think twice. I don't see one single positive review about this institution dating back years.

It is absolutely ridiculous that you have to have to pay a ten dollar fee just pay a bill to them. They are by far the worst bank I have ever dealt with.

Never had an issue that wasn't solved, actually had $1400.00 worth of fraud on my account and they recovered every penny.

This is the worst bank ever! nothing but problems every month I have to call them because of a problem, there shady and there customer service line is a joke, if you want help don't call. Stay clear of this outfit.

Executed non-apprved transactions. Response: Sorry we can't help because we can't navigate the systems.Call for inquiry. Relay events, next day call back from second rep responding to a note for a call back request no details.Contact call back: no understanding, required to repeat third time. Respinse, that's unfortunate but we can't help with the mistake we made call [insert number here].Bad business practices. Do not recommend.
