Customer service is terrible at the Medford Lowe’s. Looked for something for around 10 minutes that online said was in stock. Passed multiple employees (not very busy at the time)and not one employee asked me anything. Eventually asked one of the employees restocking in the tool section where it was and he told me where to look. It was not there and he never bothered to follow up and ask me if I found what I was looking for.

Bought a window ac unit it’s been over 110 for the last couple days for 350 got it home kept short cycling then just stopped cooling only had it for couple hours took it back and instead of exchanging it for a different one nope they just refund the money back to my card and i didn’t have another 350 so I have to wait until it goes back into my account in 2 to 3 business days asked why can’t I exchange it I was told because the computer won’t let him come on Lowe’s it’s 2024 everywhere else does exchanges I don’t think I’ll go back I’ll pay the extra 100 dollars and go to Home Depot or anywhere but here if a simple exchange is this difficult

David, who works the evening hours, was very helpful. He got us checked out quickly & helped with our questions. I noticed he is a Veteran. Thank you, David for your fine service to the country! Your professional kindness definitely makes the world a better place, ? and Lowe's gets two thumbs up. Service with a smile. Thanks again.

Lowe's has a lot of options but they are very disorganized. Looked up 4 items in the app and looked for them on the shelves and they were nowhere to be found. Finally found the items several aisles away. Hard to find anyone to help.

Because I have always had good service from their appliances, I bought a Whirlpool side by side refrigerator freezer with ice maker and water dispenser in December of 2021. It broke down the first time in just under a year with the ice maker quitting and the temperature of both sides dropping below acceptable levels. I lost a lot of food the first time this happened and I had to wait two months before they sent a repairman to fix it. This year beginning in March it started doing the same thing, with frost collecting on the back panel. Since that time there have been five repairs in less than four months, so the refrigerator has been basically rebuilt and yet it has broken down again, but Lowe's protection plan, by Assurant will not deem it a lemon and replace it for me. I have had multiple conversations with their customer service people and supervisors with lots of we're sorries, but no satisfaction. I say don't purchase an extended warranty from Lowe's with this company. And for sure don't purchase a Whirlpool appliance.

Buyers BEWARE!!! I have been doing business with Lowe's since 2002 and have made many purchases. The "delivery" charge has always included "installation".
However, unbeknownst to me that is no longer the case.
Last Monday, June 24, 2024 I went on Chat and received a price quote from Jan S for a new microwave over the range oven. To be sure that my understanding was correct I asked Jan S specifically if my order included the labor charge for R & R. (Removing and replacing) the oven? She said "yes", so I placed the order.
But, when the men delivered it I was shocked when they told me that they only deliver, they do not install, that I would have to contact the appliance department at the store to schedule the installation. In all the years of doing business with Lowe’s I have never experienced this!
I called the store trying to schedule the installation. After spending over two hours calling, holding.....getting transferred..... calling again, holding and getting disconnected etc., I decided to go to the store and speak to someone in person.
First, I went to the Appliance Dept who sent me back to the Customer Service Counter who tried to send me BACK to the Appliance Department!???
When I complained to the girl at the Customer Service Counter she called Justin, the installer, and said he would come and talk to me in a “minute”. I waited but he never came. So I went back to the girl at Customer Service.
She looked in the computer and said I needed to pay $135 for an “installation” fee. I could not believe what I was hearing! Do you mean that after I have already paid $79 “delivery” fee that I am now required to pay an additional $135 for an “installation” fee? Yes, she replied.
I explained that for over 20 years the “delivery” fee has also included the “installation” fee. She replied; “We no longer do that”. I told her that I wish I had been told that to begin with.
It was at that point that I realized what Lowe’s has done. Lowe’s knows (and you and I know) that if they were completely honest with the customer about their current “installation” policy that the customer would check for a better price and plan elsewhere.
What Lowe’s does not tell you up front is that the “delivery” fee no longer includes “installation” until AFTER you have made the purchase. If you want the microwave oven installed, you have to pay the store for an “installation” fee, THEN, a subcontractor will then contact you to schedule the date for installation.
Therefore, in order to eliminate competition, Lowe’s has devised a misleading policy in that they don’t lie, they simply do not tell all the truth!
I have already mentioned this business transaction to several friends, neighbors and family members as well as some of the other business owners of other businesses. Without exception, all of them have told me that they agree with me and that as long as Lowe’s continues this unethical practice “we” will no longer be doing business with them.

I wish I had the name of the employee who helped me get the power cord for my dryer. He went into the back and got me one when there were none on the shelf. Even explained that I needed to make sure the breaker was the correct amps so I didn't potentially ruin my dryer. Thank you for the stellar job.

Do yourself a favor and download the Lowe’s app before you go into the store and use it to find what you need.
You can complain about customer service all day long till your blue in the face but that is t going to change the reality. So download the app and find what you are looking for, it will till you where it’s located and boom you’ll be in and out faster then you can find an associate ??

It's ridiculous that they isn't anybody around to help you. They don't even have those push buttons anymore that you could use to get help. He literally have to call the store customer service from whatever aisle you're in in order for them to get somebody to you to help you. Just ridiculous.
