I went in to cash a check with a Bank of America check, even though I'm a member of KeyBank, there was a hold put on the check and I was only able access 1/5th of the check until the following day. Seems kind of ridiculous but whatever.

Great friendly service!! I have been banking with Key Bank for 9 years and I had never had a bad experience with Key Bank. They are amazing and I am well pleased! I love Key Bank!

took a check and didn’t even tell me that there was a hold on it, went back and they said that they couldn’t do anything about it , laughed at me and said to bad deal with it. closing my account that i’ve had for 10 years

Crate Lake Hey branch is AWFUL! And not for the first time... There are two tellers there that are really nice. The manager is a nightmare. She is rude and will not help or give advice when their own systems go down. The entire key bank system is down. No web page, no app, nothing. I even called the 800 number and it doesn't work. I called the branch to ask what to do. I have numerous purchases I'm doing today. I called the branch to ask if I should postpone to be safe so my card isn't denied due to the crash. She was short and rude. Said well that's your responsibility. Very snappy. Apparently if my card doesn't work due to their crash it's my responsibility. I asked if she, as my banker, would give me advice on if I should postpone due to the worldwide crash and she refused to address it. At the beginning of the call she would cut me off half way through my sentence and not even listen at all. This is the branch on Crate Lake Hwy. I called the branch on Barnett and they were super helpful and amazing with no issues. Answered my questions and were super nice. Took 2 mins. I will NEVER step foot in Crate Lake branch again.

We opened up a new account and didn't have the fees and account options explained to both account holders. I learned that my checking account earns interest and has huge overdraft fees. No one explained that to me.

This bank is terrible and cheats customers. They are liars and cheaters. Stay away and don't bother to open the account there. Branch manager Linda Daniel and personal banker Julie Stephens are extremely rude, unprofessional, unethical, and disrespectful. They constantly interrupted me, cut me off, talked over me, argued with me, fought with me, hung up the phone on me, and refused to resolve the issues. Don't believe in KeyBank's bonus promotion. They use it to get customers to open the account. Once the account is opened and money is deposited into the account for over 1 year, they don't honor the bonus. Run away and don't fall into their traps.

What a unethical garbage company. KeyBank makes Wells Fargo look like a shining beacon of morals and caring customer service. I can't wait until this small pathetic bank go under from sucking their customers dry to the point of none of them ever returning. Soooo many current lawsuits from customers at the moment and I am sure they are all justified from the torment this horrible company brings upon its members.
