Terrible company, great front line associates but jcp is the very definition of corperate gluttony and greed, its no wonder they are the lowest on the totem pole. But there employees are trying there hardest to hold it together u can tell they are stretched beyond there abilities to function they all look so tired and stressed, but hey, go ahead and pay out your CEO while not paying front line associates, find and read the Financials on JCP they are an ugly company, but enjoy your grandmother's clothing and coupons while they last.

Right now they have a huge clearance rack downstairs near the customer service desk (where the hair salon is) and their clearance prices are amazing! I found sweaters and tops from $6 to $10. They've got sweaters tops, pants, shoes, pajamas, Etc!

I'm hopeful my local store will remain open during their bankruptcy. I always find something and usually on sale. I prefer to see the item I purchased rather than online shopping. Their staff is always pleasant and helpful too!

This was one order of 3 items. 1 was was cancelled, over sold.. 2 was over sold... # 2have no idea...and these were Christmas gifts. I was charged for all. I called...Told that # 3 (a hat) would be discounted to the new price $2 bucks or so less...and and my jammies were a no go. Got another message that my shirt was a no go days later... My account was charged the entire bill. Customer service guy was nice but that doesn't help the fact this company lied about their stock, lied to me on the phone... and now just waiting for them to shlep on the the hat. No wonder this company is going to OOB, Amazon at least tries. It is a sad story... I like to buy where job security is important. Are they trying to fail? btw 1st with JcPenny. And last. Gotta bet bet on item #3 being cancelled. Guess I will see. Still want my refund,

This is THE WORST JC Penney I have ever seen. I have been to this one three maybe four times, and it's such a bizarre experience every time. It's like nobody works there, at all. You go to any customer service counter and theres one person behind the counter (always the chatty-Kathy's) so they will have a line of 10+ people holding their hangers of clothes to be purchased, meanwhile other employees are on computers, wandering around, not getting on a register or calling another checker. Not cleaning either. The clothes are A L W A Y S a mess. Need a new pair of jeans? That are on sale? Don't bother looking. Every section looks like a group of toddlers hurricaned through. It's so infuriating. This makes me never want to go to a JC Penney again!!! I'll just stick to Kohls and get rewards and real customer service, thanks.
