I came in looking for a new exhaust and after much discussion with the employee at the front desk, I decided to get a full new exhaust, as my car is older and if I'm going to get something new, might as well do the entire thing, especially because the casing around my catalytic convertor was rattling, which I had mentioned in conversation. I own a sports car and stated I wanted a loud exhaust, but not pingy. A magnaflow was suggested and I took the advice of the experts. Once paid for and picked up, it wasn't as loud as I was wanting, but it was new and that was sufficient for me. Now, 6 months later, underneath my car is rattling again! Come to find out, they only did a cat back on my car, which completely defeated the entire purpose of a brand new exhaust system, like I had asked for! I'm VERY disappointed and will not be returning this place after spending $600 and the original problem not even taken care of!!!

Friendly and helpful. Made an appointment to fix the exhaust on my '73 Opel GT. Fixed a leak, replaced the exhaust pipe all the way back from the manifold, added a resonator and new tips - she sounds so much better!Brought it in late-morning, it was done by early afternoon! And (best part) for less than they originally quoted me. When does that happen? Thanks, guys!

Called in and got Brian, had an odd request for just some straight material, not even a job. Brian took me serious as could be and took my information thoroughly. Within an hr and half I had received a call back and he was able to order me exactly what I needed. Knowing very little about proper terminology he helped me with respect and took care of me with patience. They have earned a loyal customer and I will happily tell people about the great service at J&L muffler!

I got charged for work that wasn't done!, I had asked for a 3inch y pipe and 3inch exhaust, when I lifted my car up swap out my differential I noticed that my y pipe was still the OEM stock one. when I went to get resolved and showed the owner pictures I was told I'm out of luck which I guess I am considering I spent $500. I filed a claim with the Federal Trades Commission (FTC) regarding how they conduct their business and charge for work that was never complete. I will also be filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) I wish I didn't have to go this far and wish it could've been solved in a better fashion.Service: Exhaust
