Crater Lake FordNov 24, 2023Al SchallerJohn gives me a call and asks if I can come in early because of a staff shortage. I said sure, it's Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. I arrive at 11:15, leave at 1:45 for an oil change. I had requested my front tires be rotated to the rear, the rear tires rotated to the front. The Gal at the service counter told me this is "normally" how they rotate the tires. I gave that a little thought and said, uh oh because they did not rotate this way last time..... She went to lunch, so I found John and asked again my tires be rotated back to front, front to back because of the wear on my front tires. He said he would tell the mechanic. I mark my tires because Butler Ford in Ashland, where I purchased the vehicle didn't rotate my tires and tried to charge me? I brought the service manager out, showed him how I mark the tires and told him the mechanic did not rotate my tires. I did the same with the Gal at Crater Lake, so I wasn't charged for the rotation. The mechanic wrote "more tread on rear tires" and didn't rotate any tires. As a bonus, the mechanic smeared the dead bugs on my windshield all over, so it's actually worse?I trust the mechanics read these reviews as a point of pride for a good laugh. After reading several other reviews I see nothing changes.

Worst POS company. Miss the old crater lake ford. Service dept sucks now. Do yourself a favor make this your LAST option for anything. And when they respond like below. It is still all BS. They always have an excuse. Called butler. Got right in.

I just purchased the unicorn maverick pick up truck. It took 16 months until I finally received it.My salesman was JT. Over the 16 months JT kept me posted of all progress. I would highly recommend JT to anyone looking to buy a car at crater Lake Ford.I hope Crater Lake Ford and its management understands what a great asset JT is to this company!

In October 2022 I purchased my 2022 Ford Ranger from Crater Lake Ford. I also purchased the lifetime oil change. Around July 1st, the service light came on. On July 5th, I called and tried to schedule an oil change. I was told someone would call me back. I waited until July 11th, and without a return call, I called again. On July 13th, I called the main number and asked to be transferred to the Service Department On July 19th I called again and was told someone would call me back.On August 8th, I went by Crater Lake Ford and asked to fill out a Warranty Cancellation Form for the lifetime oil change. Ian, the Business Manager, filled out the form and said they would send me the check. As of October 10, I have yet to receive the check. I will never purchase anything from Crater Lake Ford again.

I had already posted a less than stellar review from a routine service (oil change) appointment on 7/20/23. A manger did respond to my post to get my business back, but since that service I found some additional factors. During this service my tires were rotated. According to the manufactures door sticker my front tires and rear tires require a different PSI. The tires were switched front to back but the psi was not changed. I also pull a 40ft Fifth Wheel & I always check the torque on my tires before towing. My truck tires were not set to the manufactures recommended torque and I found that one of the lug nuts on a tire was damaged to the point that the outer casing will most likely need to be forcibly removed to get to the actual lug nut. This will probably mean having to replace the entire lug nut. Now it is too late to go back and give Crater Lake Ford a chance to fix the lug nut.I travel the US in my RV and this was my first and only contact with Crater Lake. I take my F350 to a Ford dealership in hopes that they will service according to the manufactures recommended specifications. I also had the belief that the service department would have checked the psi in the tires, tightened the lug nuts to the recommended torque, and if you damage something like a lug nut, it should have been replaced. The tech should have known because I was unable to get my socket to fit onto the lug nut.I'm sure not all the service techs will do work like this, but I don't think I'd give Crater Lake Ford a chance to give me that particular tech to damage something else on my truck that I will have to fix.

First time there to get an oil change and I was in and out of there within 40 minutes. Also had my tires rotated. I appreciate a Blue oval Ford dealership. To me it means they are doing their best and they train their people to do the job right. Which is greatly appreciated.

These people were superior. They fixed my front end wobble in a very short order. They made an extra effort to get me in and to fix the problem. The service manager who handled my case, was friendly, courteous and kept me informed. Great bunch of people at Crater Lake Ford. Other dealers should take note of this companies care and how to treat people.

Beware, beware beware!!! This group of clowns will stab you in the back lie, and do whatever it takes to get what they want their way. I went in there ready to buy a vehicle for $62,000. It was advertised on their website and several others at that price when I got there and went to sit down to talk about it they decided to upmarket 10,000 above MSRP and refused to sell it to me for the advertised MSRP price. When I challenged them questioning why, they said "well now the car is off the market and we're not selling it." This is the second time I had this happen at this dealership stay far and clear and never do business with this group. you people really need to get your shit together and treat us with respect and honesty, make an honest car sale I challenge you management GM owners to make this, right!!!

It wasn't a bad experience but it far from the best. I made a service appointment online and arrived into the service bay onetime. I stood outside my truck between 10 - 15 minutes while 2 service advisors were at their desk a few feet away. They talked with other employees and walked right by me. I finally asked one if this is where I'm supposed to be to get his attention. The service advisor I was assigned to wasn't there so he got me checked in. They had drinks and snacks in the waiting room but no one gave me like the wifi password since I was waiting. They did offer a free shuttle to my house but I didn't live nearby. They did what they needed but it just didn't appear they were going to do anymore than they had too. An example to car wash, or floor matts on my vehicle and after a 3 hour wait I got up to walk around. I then saw my truck in the parking lot. I don't know how long it had been there, but no one notified me it was ready.

Seems like the only thing they know how to do here is an oil change. You can't even schedule to get your car serviced without talking to someone that's physically offsite... Guaranteed. If you called the sales department you would get a hold of someone at that store because all they care about is profit... Extremely unintelligent. That's the problem of having little businesses , not as high expectations. Poor performance.

Every interaction with the service center has been a nightmare. At this point I wouldn't have anything to do with this shop if it wasn't for the warranty I have. Multiple times I've called with various check engine lights and am always told they don't know when they can schedule me because they are booked so far out. This last time my check engine light came on and I was due for my 100k service. So I called and was surprised they could fit me in for an appointment that week. I take it in and explain the check engine light is my main concern along with needing the service. When I go to pick up the vehicle I'm told they didn't even read the code "because we were too busy there wasn't a technician that could read the code". What a freaking joke. I had to buy my own code reader to find it was a potentially serious issue with multiple cylinder misfires. So now I'm upset this "service" center gave me back my vehicle and didn't even both to address my main concern. I called them back to get the vehicle looked at AGAIN for the same check engine light but was again told they had no idea when it could be scheduled and a scheduling "specialist" would need to call me back "sometime" with no expected timeline. Unprofessional clowns can't read an engine code figuring out scheduling in 2023. Would give 0 stars if I could.Service: General repairs & maintenance
