This was my 2nd purchase from them. This time I thought I knew what I needed. Nope I would have bought the wrong saw for my application if it was not for their knowledgeable staff.
Update:
I have added to my Stihl collection and once again, great recommendations on the product itself and the needed accessories to make it preform best for the task at hand.

I love shopping for clothing at this local store. The people are always so helpful. The Carhartt selection is one of the best I have ever seen. I don’t know how long they have been around but I hope they will be here for years to come.

My son and I went to two other stores looking for a particular piece of equipment. We had been assured the fist store had it in stock. Nope. 2nd store, same. Crater Chain , where I might have suggested we stop first, HAD EXACTLY what my son was looking for.

I've been shopping at Crater Chainsaw for almost 20 years and every time I walk out the door from this place I wonder how they're still in business? The customer service is rude at best and you'll be scratching your head and thinking why did I just spend $700. and feel like I was wasting their time by shopping there.With an excellent location, a product brand that sells itself and the only place in southern Oregon that carries professional level machines you can have the social intelligence of a hamster and drop more F bombs than a rap singer.Buy your small stuff online and do your research first if you are going to buy here!
