I went to the hot food deli and asked if they could separate the noodles from the sauce in separate containers (they weren't combined to begin with) and they laughed at me and said "no" in a condescending way. It was a small accommodation to ask for. No need to humiliate. When I asked if they could just give me the sauce they seemed very irritated. I just walked away at that point cause of anxiety.

At Christmas time my husband went to Cartwrights to buy a bone-in ham. The price $114!! Who, in today's economy could afford that? I splurged this past weekend on two bone-in ribeye @$54. They looked beautiful but had the texture of an old shoe. I'm done with Cartwrights. I'll drive to Eagle Point from now on.

One of the best places for produce and meat, even better than MoC. Excellent staff and huge wine/beer selection. First choice in Medford. Happy workers, that's when you know it's a good store.

We've had really good items from this store in the past, but today we bought a pumpkin pie at $15 and it's terrible. The pumpkin filling is runny and the crust uncooked. I'm thinking it was baked only half the time. We had to throw it away. Expensive and disappointing. Cartwright's, please be careful who you hire for baking. One more thing -- The young checkout woman looked really sick and she was talking to another woman about how sick she was. That made us feel really comfortable -- NOT!!!

Always something new to discover for the culinary adventurer or beer lover. Today I picked up a lovely carmelized onion goat cheese, jar of cartwrights candied jalapeños, a growler of Disco Wolf Hazy double IPA, and a six pack of Aces Guava Cider. All are now on my favorites list.Check out their huge assortment of cartwrights label jars of veg and salsa. It is a bit daunting to choose so I try to get something new a couple times a month.All their staff is lovely, kind, and knowledgeable.Didn't pick up and meat today but already thinking about their carne asada marinade for later on this week.
