Wish I could say something nice, but I did like the car even though it wasn't what was offered, then i got overcharged. Not to mention that they offered no ride, knowing I had to walk to a bank and then back to the avis from the airport and bank. I was charged a full day extra and didn't even have the rental. I was stuck at the airport because of the walking just to be charged again. Very unsatisfied by this rental agency. Will not be renting here again

DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET IT WILL BE THE WORST NIGHTMARE YOUVE HADMy truck radiator broke two hours into my drive. The car Dolly did not have enough length to reach the truck for the lights to connect. When I brought this issue up they said it was not needed. The car dolly's straps were also broken, I had to turn the metal pieces by hand. My blinker light was also broken and every single cup holder was broken. The roadside service for budget is a complete joke as well. They said someone was coming in an hour. I waited 2 hours, no one came. I called them and they told me someone forgot to call out the tow truck in the first place. So I had to get a hotel which I had to pay for. When they finally towed my truck the next day, the driver said she would be 45 minutes behind me as I drove my car the rest of the way. She was actually 1.5 hours behind me because she stopped to get lunch in Albany on the way to Portland. Because of this my movers arrived two hours before she got there, and I was charged for movers that couldn't do anything because she still wasn't here by the time slot I paid for ended. I then had to move all of my stuff out by myself during the night while the truck was in a towed position. Also because of the towed position several pieces of furniture and sentimental items were heavily damaged and/or completely broken.

Prepaid while booking on the phone, Then was charged again when I arrived to pick up my rental car, (not what I ordered! Attitude and unprofessional, All phone agents are idiots, disconnect YOU! Promise to credit you account, then credit the wrong amount!!!!! NIGHTMARE!!!! NEVER AGAIN........Enterprise might be more $$$, but never had a problem with the 20 plus years, I was a client! BE WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They rented m a 16' truck that was "unsafe to drive on the freeway" knowing I was driving over 800 miles on a rainy weekend! The desk person filled out the form and had pre-circled all the dings and dents on the form - there were so many I didn't think it was necessary to go out and inspect it myself. I signed and started driving. Cab was disgustingly dirty, wheels were a bit out of alignment. I didn't think it was worth hassling since it was the only truck they had. I got to my location and realized the pull ramp in back was stuck on bent metal. Called the breakdown line, tow truck came out, couldn't fix the ramp. I let him know about the alignment and checked the front tire - BALD!! He said it was unsafe to drive! 800 miles in the rain!!! I COULD HAVE DIED! DO NOT RENT HERE!!

I feel like the car rental agencies in the city have a pretty rough, most people don’t realize how large of a land area this airport serves, we were talking probably thousands of square miles, this is one of the most sparsely populated large land areas in the United States and Medford serves almost all of Northern California and southern Oregon, as such there are so many people that do remote work and important work that require car rentals, the agency should be about three times their size, for some reason they have not increased, probably for financial reasons, I’m not exactly sure. I did have a positive experience both times, I know it’s hit or miss but at least this point they did a great job

Our family reserved a truck 2 months in advance to move out of state. We had received emails that everything was good for our rental up until 1 day before our move. Legally we had to be out of our home the very next day. Budget cancelled on us b/c they said their truck we needed broke down and wouldn't be fixed for another 3-4 weeks. And they didn't have any other truck we could use. They left us completely stranded. It was just so disappointing.

This was an awful experience that I would urge others to avoid at all cost!!!! I arranged for a 16' moving truck over a week ago to move my 87 yr old mother from Ashland to live with me in S CA. I tried calling multiple times in the morning and could never speak with anyone so I called customer service around 9:10am to say I would be about a half hr late (I was supposed to pick up the truck at 9am but my mom was supposed to drive me there but was too ill so I got an uber). I said "are you sure they will keep my truck?" I was assured if they didn't have my reserved truck, they would find me an equal or better one since I had called and she said she put it in the notes for them when I arrived. She said just to be sure, If I had to get one somewhere else, they would compensate for both rides. I finally got there at 9:37am. When I arrived, I noticed a family standing outside so I kept my distance assuming they were keeping distancing due to Covid. After about 10 mins, I asked how long they were waiting and they said "Oh, they are closed.". They then pointed to the note stuck on the door which stated THIS LOCATION IS CLOSED. I called the many customer service numbers posted on the door and finally reached Abraham who told me they didn't have my reservation. I called back, in frustration, about 10 mins later and of course Ron said he couldn't help me but saw my reservation and would escalate the call to his supervisor. At this point, I had about 7% left on my phone battery so asked him to let them know it was urgent. Additionally, I had 2 guys I was paying by the hour, waiting to load the truck waiting starting at 10. After about an hr, and no return call from a supervisor, (making it just after 10:30)I noticed there was a HERTZ rental around the block with a sign saying they rent trucks. So, I walked around the block where the very sweet and polite girl at Hertz helped me to arrange for one of their trucks. (Yes it was much more money but I would say it was worth it) After hearing my story, she said "How about if we take you to the other Budget at the airport since it is much cheaper and if they can't help you we will bring you back and have this truck waiting for you." When I got to the airport budget, after waiting in a very long line of people renting cars, the incredibly rude girl at the desk there basically yelled at me for being a "No Show" and that her boss told her she was waiting at the other location from 9-10:30 so they were charging me the extra fee and I should be more courteous next time". WHAT???? I told her it wasn't true and would she please call customer service to arrange a truck for me. She said no, I'd have to call her boss on Monday cuz she was the owner and would deal with "people like me." Appalling! I got back on the hertz shuttle and paid the extra gladly to be done with budget permanently!!! Around noon, I finally got a call from Allan in Denver Budget operations who said "I don't deal with Oregon but wanted to give you a call back--Contact customer service again and they should compensate you for your uber and the difference in price for the truck you are now renting." I arrived back at the apartment just before 1pm (having to pay the guys 3 hours for sitting and chatting with my mom). It is now being loaded and I have contacted customer service who said to write and email along with a copy of the Hertz receipt and they will let me know if they will give me a refund. This stress was not worth saving a bit of money so be warned--THERE REALLY ISN"T SAVINGS after all this...STAY AWAY from Budget on Biddle Road!

Their on-line quote for a 10 day rental was $284 ... great. I didn't see the small print saying that they are adding $126 in fees. So I clicked and the total came out to $411. When I tried to immediately cancel they charged me $50 for the cancelation. DO NOT EVER USE THIS PLACE THEY ARE A BIG CON JOB. This is misleading advertising at it's best. I am trying to contact the owner in Medford Oregon and they don't answer the phone. Enterprise quoted me $343 total price. No charge if I cancelled. My bank won't refund the $50 so I am going to try to continue to contact the owner and explain I am a publicist and they don't want to mess with my social media connections ... so far only an answering machine.
